thank you to everyone who has put footage of the 2018 Great Dorset steam fair on youtube. sadly when Me and my dad went there three years ago now we did not see much of it because it was heavy rain during the two days that we went to see it and pretty much spent most of our time there undercover in the tea tent and i could not get hold of a copy of the show guide because the show office had run out of them.

Thanks Peter. One of my previous videos showed more of the fun fair and of the stage shows. It's always difficult to know how much to show of everything. I could very easily make the video 4 hours long but most people would then be clicking through and missing large sections.

@@SydHutchinson we had a different time at the 2018 show as it was rainy and horrible and Me and my Dad couldn't buy a show guide because they had run out of them due to a mess up at the printers

@@eliotreader8220 It is awful when it has been raining. The mud is very difficult to walk through in places. Even the engines have to be towed.

Sad, the big show is no more! The cost to run it has gotten so high that they decided to shut down this year. Not only the biggest steam show, it also had something for everyone! Really had hoped to attend at some point, but now I guess that won't happen.

The last show was 2019. It was then cancelled due to Covid and that caused the running costs to go through the roof. Currently it is up for sale so if you fancy owning it ........

Hi Syd another topping video from you,let's hope you get a crack to do some more next year (NOT A HOPE IN HELL THIS YEAR I would think).I really enjoy these rally video's and it would be great to see the organs in full swing,they seem to get left out somehow.Take care. C.

Thank you Chris. GDSF is definitely cancelled this year. 2021 is the next one and I shall certainly be there for a few days. With a new camera, everything will be 4K definition from now on. I shall bear in mind your comments about the organs. There are usually a few, big and small, and I shall try to remember to include them. It is difficult because it would be so easy to make a 3 hour video but I have to edit out a great deal otherwise it would be too long for most people. Not sure if you know but I also filmed 2019 and earlier events.

This old Steamies may not for sale to export them out of england. There are under protection. The Brits should reproduced this wonderfull Lokomobile to export this all over the world. That will be a big business. I will buy one for shure.
