You could use prop it up to remove the boulards from that building you were going to place around the under ground road connection. Pull up the menu with shift+p and go to props then select the asset you want to edit. Also for editing nodes owned by a building there was a tool tip for you to hold alt to select the node!

The Cheesegrater (sloped building) is such a great building, but the shape of it is being blocked by the one you moved from the waterfront (with the whole in the top) Also see if you can use prop it up to remove the bollards and fountain from the one you were going to put around the tunnel because that would look so great

hey! fellow sydney resident here... while i love the centrepoint tower, i think there should definately be higher buildings. the real one was built in the 80's and i feel it would be rediculous if it wasnt surpassed in the 40 years since then. maybe move it to the harbourfront so its still visible, but it doesnt hinder development

I'm loving this city! Suggestion: If both of the train lines going out past the airport will have passenger trains then it might be beneficial to have both stop there. That way people coming from the presently undeveloped areas would be able to exit at the airport rather than continuing all the way down to the city and coming back up the other line. If you wanted to keep the airport shuttle line relevant then you could make it so only inbound outskirts trains stop. Then people would be forced to use the shuttle to go up to the airport.

Realistically, the ramp that goes over the highway next to the stadium parking lot should go under the highway instead of over, and would probably look better too

Might add a direct road to the parking from the Myrtle Park entrance. So that they can bypass all the shops/stadium doors.

Building at 5:27 would've been cool. Try removing barriers using Prop It Up and see if it let's you remove them that way.

Please raise the needle up with the move it and put another building beneath it. It would make sure the building is the highest and would not rule out half of the buildings you have.

Semaj I suggested 2 videos ago that you build your industrial area with ship cargo and trains etc next to the airport... now listen again and take the cargo line up to the otherside of the city as well

Why not just use the accompanying building for that train station? I don't think you have it installed, though, so maybe check it out? Its name is "city terminus mk3." Then you could put plazas in front, works quite well.

It's a real challenge because of how c:s is scaled. Silvarret recreated a part of Oslo (Norway) and he did an awesome job, it's fun to watch, too. Don't think it's for James though, at all.

It’d be nice if you didn’t give up finding a spot to place a building down after 2 seconds of looking at it on random streets and instead actually plan the roads around the building or just redraw the roads to fit it. You’re never gonna place any of those buildings if you build the roads long before and don’t know the size of the plots

I don’t really like that huge black building in the middle of the city, it just doesn’t look modern 🤢 also if you decided to put down buildings higher then the tower and maybe relocated it closer to the waterfront you would have lot more and cooler buildings ( and you would still have a nice view of the bay from the tower )
