I've lived in Sydney since I was a 3 year old but never get enough of seeing people enjoy my city, I flew my Girlfriend from Ohio here to spend a few weeks and one evening we went to a concert at the opera house to see the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and on leaving I proposed on the Steps. We married in Ohio but live here and raised our kids. most of My Wife's family have never ventured out of their home state, so we are the cool ones from "Down Under".

He's a little sneaky (re: the proposal), but that's gonna keep things leaning towards 'surprise' more often than not. I'm pleased you both found our little corner of the world (but try to keep it a secret 😉) ... hope you enjoyed your short stay! Sydney is a great place to be, regardless of the living costs, and I'm more than happy to call it home. Come back to visit us Aussies sometime soon ... 👍🦘🇦🇺

very few go to a show at the Opera House .. we have some of the greatest musicians and conductors .. because no one says no to an offer from the Sydney Opera House.. the Jazz fusion is the best ever!

Hi from Kangaroo Island South Australia.. Our family only eat kangaroo and free range chicken because it’s better for our country environmentally. It makes an excellent curry too!

Right now it's winter time here in australia, we celebrate valentines day on the 14th of February, yes I deliberately wrote the date in longhand. If you have a different valentine date perhaps it's a warm season thing?

It's so refreshing seeing young people eating meat, Tired of vegans and vegetarians only and i was beginning to think this is how the world is going to be ?,If you are a vegan or vegetarian that's fine but you have to think how your body is going to react as you reach 50. Suppliments can only do so much and lack of basic iron and nutrients you get from meat will tell.

The US is the only country in the world (that I'm aware of) that puts the month before the day. If anything, you guys are doing it backwards. Why? Who knows. Why are the US, Liberia and Myanmar the only countries that don't use the metric system? Who knows. The UK uses a bizarre mix of both metric and imperial.
