not all old people hate graffiti. Graffiti as in making up a tag name and painting it started in the 1960s or 1970s and has probably been in Australia since the 1980s. I used to paint graffiti in the 80s and 90s and I am old. I dont hate graffiti I just hate toys that talk shit and go over people for no reason.

People have been writing on walls since hieroglyphics. It has evolved over time from generation to generation. Old people get so worked up at something that at first was only valued by the artists themselves in hopes that someone in the wider community would value it. We don't write to please yous, we write to please our obsession and feed our alter ego. Without that alter ego we wouldn't have the hunger to do more and do better. Rather read and ad about buying new undies than read a scribble that might even hold a message
