Would be nice to see the L2 get extended to South Coogee and the L3 extended to La Perouse

It is most unlikely to get to LaPerouse as they will build a metro out that way.. Even Coogee or South Coogee is unlikely unless there extensive development along the corridors.

Robin Coleman as far as I'm aware of, they're currently working on installing the real time data feed which will in turn allow them to increase the services frequency to less than 10 minutes as it is now

Sydney Trains Vlogs Since the NSW Government is planning to loosen restrictions around the end of June, I presume that will be when activity will pick up again. Might have to consider filming my first L3 trip in July.

John Undli Phil said in a comment that he was running errands at the time this was filmed, remember the date of filming is always listed in the description of his videos. He will plan to do full L3 coverage later in the year when the NSW Government loosens the COVID-19 laws.

Not safe to operate in Vic, I very much agree, thanks to the stupid ARTC clowns that paid little to no attention to the standard gauge track and it had to take 1 XPT crash and the death of its driver and pilot to get them to lower the speed limit around Wallan.

according to the "timetable" its supposed to be 40 mins from circular quay to randwick which is much quicker than before so the signals must have been improved or they are allowed to run closer to each other. whether this actually occurs i dont know because there is no real time and i haven't done a trip to check

Tejas Thanks, I am currently living in France and one thing I am really impressed with the tramway systems here is that, even though there are many intersections with motorways, they are able to optimise the signalling to the extent that the tram does not stop at any lights besides the designated stop. I think Sydney Light rail and only realise its potential if they are able to dramatically improve the performance on that front.
