To the people who are losing their minds because of the presence of the cat? Babies and children who are around animals are HEALTHIER and have fewer allergies than those who are raised in a "sterile" environment. True. Farm kids play in the dirt with animals all the time and they are exposed to germs galore. They have a BETTER immune system as they get older. It's healthy for kids to be around animals and to see pets as part of the family.

There are some very stupid people about. The cat is probably more cleaner than they are. Myself and my son were bought up in a house full of cat's and dog's My parents were aware and kept the place very clean, and so did I. My unit's are forever being wiped down, and I am fully aware there are animal's about. Children that are bought up with animals seem more calm, caring and loving. And you can plainly see this household is not a dirty hovel. I love to see children with animal's . I know people that use there work surfaces for everything..yet rarely wipe down inbetween doing things..because they have no animal's they think it's clean. ⚘

THIS! 🙌🔥🙌 I can not imagine growing up without having the unconditional love and the immense joy our beloved pets gave us. I am so grateful my parents encouraged our love and compassion for animals, as well as taught us that it was our responsibility to care for them, in all aspects: feeding, exercising, and the more unpleasant tasks like daily litter-box cleaning, poop pick up, and keeping their beds or cages/stalls/shelters/terrariums/tanks, etc. clean. As long as we were responsible and took care of their needs, we could rescue and bring home dogs, cats, horses, birds, bunnies, chickens, seahorses, reptiles, turtles, fish, even a turkey. I currently volunteer and foster with 7 different animal rescue organizations in my city, as well as being an active member in our city's TNR/Spay/Neuter/Feral/Stray Med/Vet Care/Ongoing Community Colony Caretaker organization. Several times a year, I also volunteer as a citizen scientist scuba diver helping to restore coral reefs and participate in annual fish/marine life count surveys to determine the ongoing health of the reefs and ocean. My life would not be fulfilling without my rescued furkids and my growing family of very playful marine creatures. 💙🌊🐾🌊💙 I always feel very sorry for people whose parents did not allow them to have even one pet. 😕

I think this mom is doing great. She is giving baby small spoonfuls, she asked the baby if she needed a drink. And this is obviously a happy baby. She laughs and gets excited between each bite. Dad isn't distracting like a lot of dad's do and mom is totally engaged with her baby. Bravo. Forget the cat, people, it was only walking around in the very beginning anyway.

Babies on farms and babies who are allowed to play in the dirt around animals actually have FEWER illnesses and allergies, and end up healthier. They build up immunity and are healthier in the long run. The parents are using perfectly sound judgement.

She's eating from a tray, not on the floor. In a relaxed family environment. This is how babies all over the world are introduced to food with the family. Babies who are exposed to some germs have much better immunity than babies in a "sterile" environment, by the way. They are all happy and unstressed, and it looks like a healthy situation for all. (Retired Preschool teacher/Director here).

Oak Island: I completely agree with you about that seat. Those seats ought to be taken off the market. High chairs are much, much better and more comfortable for the baby. From the high chair to the table is an easy transition.

I always have one question can anybody tell why you leave your children at 13 if you take so much care when they are born how your mind changes so fast in 13 yrs you treat them as strangers cant afford for their studies as they are costly better you have one and take care of them till they are in a stage of earning you people eat so many medicines and have 3 to 5 children at a time and when they grow up they become burden to you
