100% support all the points made - but not sure about the specific application of the hierarchy on College Street. If I was walking between any points on the east of College St, I would walk on the footpath on the east side. If I was walking to/from anywhere on the west side, I would walk through the park. A footpath at road level on the west side of College St would be 100% empty.

You'd think so, but in the short time I was filming by the cycleway, I saw three people walk on the "no pedestrian access" curb - people tend to walk in the direction of their destination then cross when convenient. Maybe zebra crossings instead of signalised crossings would make a footpath redundant though.

Great video. Agree 100 percent about putting pedestrians first, always. All roads and streets in in urban areas should have footpaths on both sides, always. If a car lane has to be removed to make that happen, then so be it. And footpaths should never be narrowed to make way for bike lanes. Take space from cars, not from pedestrians.

Just a slight remark on your video, fix the sound. The combination of your voice and the place where you have your microphone produces a metallic sound that is horrible. Too horrible to continue. Parts are ok, just the moment you explain 'on camera' it sucks.
