I went to school with Sydney before graduating, and I've known her since I was in 8th grade. While I was never actually friends with her, I can tell you all that she has just as beautiful of a soul as she has a voice. She was Ti Moune in our middle school's production of Once On This Island Jr. when she was only in 6th grade. That was the first time I heard her, and she was the absolute star of the show. I knew from that moment on that she would go far. And not to my surprise, here she is 5 years later with a four chair turn on the Voice. I hope she wins it all!! I love the look on her face when she first gets a chair turn. She was so happy 😊
