Hi Phil, great video. Interesting seeing Regents Park station and especially the track inspection vehicle going past. This is another station that I have passed through many times, but never managed to get off there. Anyway, take care. Rob in Melbourne Australia.

The junction for the line to Potts Hill Pumping Station was at the northern (Lidcombe) end of the station. The line climbed on top of the cutting on the Platform 2 side to cross the road next to the overbridge on a level crossing. There was also a loop and Goods Siding on the Platform 1 side. The loop extended north and then west of the station to serve several sidings including the RAAF Stores.

The yellow sign on the overhead mast at the south end of the station warns drivers of electric trains that the crossover is not wired. It is for goods trains that are now required to run wrong road from the junction with the line from Chullora Junction.

wish those track inspection vehicles would go on the south coast line - took a tangara and heard a loud bang from the bogies both directions around engadine/heathcote

@Rail_Rider in case you don't know, they cut Bankstown station Sydney Trains platforms in half to make way for the plaza walkway between the trains and metro platforms. Now only 4-car trains can fit Bankstown station Sydney Trains platforms and the M Sets are the most modern suburban trains that can run 4 cars since the K Sets are older trains and Tangaras don't run Sector 2 (T2, T3, T5, T6, T7 and T8) on weekdays.
