Sydney Trains Vlog 519: Derailed Endeavour

The points probably weren't set right, either that or the driver missed or read the signal wrong.. The other week one of these endeavours derailed at Campbelltown and it was the fault of the guard, driver and station master if you'd believe.. The guards indicator wasn't on and the driver should have seen that the signal was at stop right infront of him before leaving..

TrainzXtreme They tend to do that when they’re transferring them for maintenance, it wouldn’t have been in revenue service.

That would have been unlucky. If it was just N8 running by itself, i'm sure it would not have cause that much congestion.

brucektrain1 I thought Endeavours are supposed to be only 4 cars long, not 8. If 6 or 8, then it is not a passenger service.

Brucektrain Trainspotting It wouldn’t have been. They only tend to couple that many together when they’re being transferred for maintenance.
