Gosh, I'm so happy I found this video and your channel Sydney! I was born with cerebral palsy, which limits my mobility. I've always tried very hard not to play the violin for myself and blame anything on my disabilty. But I'm 24 and I've never been on a single date. And to be honest, it is frustrating. It's frustrating that I feel like I have to prove to people (in this case to guys) that disabilty isn't something to be scared of. I'm generally a really positive person, but I just worry that I might never experience love.

I feel this one too, I didn’t have my first boyfriend until my freshman year of Hs, each time a relationship of mine ends I’m so convinced I’m NEVER gonna find someone else who wants to date someone like me, and it’s scary. But obviously there’s people out there who don’t give a single fuck about disabilities. Like my current and all my past boyfriends lol.

I am legally blind, and dating with a disability is so difficult. I’m really lucky to have met a great man, And we got married about six months ago. But I will never forget how lonely and frustrating dating was, and how I wondered if anyone would ever want to be with me. Also, I think it’s cool that you were in a sorority. I was in a sorority in college as well, and I haven’t seen many other disabled girls who were

It doesn’t matter if you have a disability or not because if she or he is the right guy and loves you with all his or her heart then that’s all that matters. And it makes you both stronger as a couple

I was 22, I have severe dysautonomia and never much cared for relationships or thought about wanting one, honestly. Then I met someone and I learned, him accepting my illness wasn't a problem and he never even saw any of my problems, he only saw me but I couldn't get past them. I couldn't get over the knowing I'm dragging this person down and with my health, I may hurt him badly. So, I pushed him away to a better life I hope. I can't get past the knowing my life is shit, I know I won't have a very long life and do not want to make others lives shit like mine. This is solely based on my experience and in no way how others feel and I wish I was as strong as the ones who know and feel different than I do.

Awwwwww!!! You’re so sweet and pretty Sydney.. I have miled cp on my right leg. I have a walker but I didn’t have one through my school years but I have one now. I’m in a great youth group and they treat me kindly and help me and they don’t see me with cp. and I liked a guy from my church but he was playing games and now he has a girlfriend and he got jealous of another guy and now I’m focusing on myself and my god and if it happens well it happens. I love my god. My Jesus with all my heart
