The story line of the occults being rejects fits so well with some of their aesthetics!!! 😍The mermaid who normally should love the water longs to be in space, the ghost who is dead is obsessed with life and hence the many plants in their room, the vampire who is supposed to be dark and gloomy loves pop art which is colourful.

ur idea for the cyberpunk patchy reminded me so much of the game Stray, the one where u play as a cat traversing an underground city inhabited by robots. the aesthetics of that game are very post-post apocalypse (as i've heard it described) and cyberpunk.

Story for the ghost sim. Maybe when they were alive they kept killing their plants. Or just couldn't learn due to money issues so they couldn't keep plants but cactus. After dying and turning into a ghost, they've learnt how to properly take care of plants and keep a ton of them. They take care of every plant in the house.

astronaut career has soooo many cool space decorations! and there are also amazing space photos in debug, that you can collect in-game via an observatory. they would fit the space room wonderfully. amazing build, anyway, as usual! will wait for the cas edition! also I'd be very glad to see liminal places aesthetic as a build. I have no idea how to do it in sims, and you would definitely do it great!

For the ghost one i probably would've gone for an abandoned typa vibe. My aesthetic is a mix between bohe-hippie and romantic goth and i LOVE ghosts and all things related to ghosts. (i literally used to go by the name Ghost lol!)
