Well that's my Mariyung trip ticked off. Now for the CAFs from Wauchope to Central, but I don't know if I'll live long enough. I turn 80 this year.

Nice video Phil, I think the D sets are cool but it’s sad to see V sets go.

They should’ve added vestibules to these trains which separates the doors area from the seating area so that noise is kept to a minimum from people getting on and off and the doors beeping, and also maintains the temperature in the seating area. What do you all think?

Interesting observation; when in the lower deck of a Sydney double deck carriage, the line if sight from the window is basically level with the platform. However, in Melbourne double deck carriages, which had a short service existence during the 1980's and 1990s, the lower deck line of sight was a few feet above the platform. Question, are Melbourne train station platforms lower than Sydney or were the Melbourne double deck carriages slightly higher?

I believe they are going to soon have a 3rd 8 car D set enter service into the CCN line, but i can not completely confirm this as this is what I can see of the timetable! (Correct me if im right or wrong)

Yes, peak hours or early morning on weekdays👍 on anytrip you can set a filter to see where all k sets are whether in service or empty running

What will the next few Transfers of Brand New Mariyung D Set numbers will have while coming from overseas?

Some set numbers of the new fleet are missing, D22 with D122 and D58 with D158 and D57 with D157 and D59 with D159 and D155 with D55 and D10 with D110

6 new fleet missing sets left therefore, then we can have all Brand New Intercity Future Next Generation of Sydney Trains altogether in Sydney

At the moment we do not have all Mariyung NIF Fleet new numbers transferred from Korea to Australia. Only just 6 of the new futuristic fleet bringing to Australia from Korea left for transferring around Sydney

​@Roadrunnerz45 No. I believe some new numbers of the NIF D Set are missing. Just see above, I wrote all information that will come this year so you will know about it. If it does not come or arrive this year then probably next year or the years ahead. Still we got lots and lots of time before the next generation for Sydney Transport comes.

Not a big fan of these Mariyung trains, the seats are too upright and there is only one desirable seat per carriage compared to four, the disabled seats are less comfortable if you want to view the scenery from a single deck perspective and it just feels cramped
