I like how the Sydney metro is in the middle and Sydney trains are on the sides Chatswood is a perfect interchange for Sydney trains Sydney metro and buses

I love it when you’re travelling towards the city and a metro pops out of the tunnel and travels along side your train

Can’t relate live in Strathfield lol

The changeover metro/suburban cannot be any easier in Chatswood, and the North shore line now has much more frequent services. Cannot wait though for the metro to continue beyond Chatswood in few years' time.

Thanks Phil. Can't wait to get on a Metro on this coming Friday. Maybe I can get somevideo of my Train and Metro day.

Came to look at this not realizing I had already been here. Looking forward to getting some Sydenham Metro testing some time!

Nice video Phil! Pity the metro trains look so old already. The corrugated iron roofs and doors that aren’t flush against the sides of the train make them look cheap. The waratahs on the other hand are aging pretty well.
@electro_sykes Жыл бұрын
The Metro trains are cheap. Thats why the NSW Government prefers them over the Double Deckers, plus they don't need to pay for drivers or Guards, LOL.

Hey Phil! Amazing vid as always. I just wanted to say that it’s so coincidental you film metro as I just went on the metro today. Awesome trains they are.

I’ve seen lots of hate comments about the metro on previous videos, I completely disagree with these comments, I think that the metro will be amazing once it’s finished, what’s not to love about 4 minute frequencies in peak?
@callum_bracht3 жыл бұрын
@Nathan Dunn that is a very good point, although the frequency is great, and trains going new places is good, if there was a driver and guard on the train, they would be 100 times better
@callum_bracht3 жыл бұрын
@Nathan Dunn definitely true
@LavenderHaze3013 жыл бұрын
@Nathan Dunn The NSW Government wants to build 21st Century railway and make transport much better and they thought driverless trains would do the job. But I agree you have a good point but driverless trains aren’t too bad. But like I said, your point shouldn’t be ignored.
@bowlerstuff95893 жыл бұрын
@Nathan Dunn Here in the UK,we have the DLR,which is a automatic system around the docklands in London,they put Guards on the trains for safety,ticket checking,to drive the train if failure and in these COVID times,there being driven manually

And the trains are often crowded, and The Hills district is often useless as no one really uses it.
@JustAlexB27011 ай бұрын
Right now if you changed for trains at Epping it would be worse but Chatswood better because your train could be a cross the platform

Wellington KZbinr from NZ. I'd love to go to Sydney at the end of this year and do a couple of train/tram/driverless train videos. Last time I went to Sydney was Dec 2016 early Jan 2017 for a week. Hopefully COVID situation will have settled. In NZ, it's pretty much back to normal, though Auckland requires face masks on public transport. NZ Govt still recommends logging our activity using QR codes but the Bluetooth update makes scanning QR codes unnecessary.

Hope you got work now. If you don't, perhaps some community service or volunteering may help. Or if you are over 50, just retire on a pension.
