That is a very rare sight with V sets at Glenfield and S Sets and K Sets running Leppington services

By the way the freight train at 4:18 with TT classes in the push pull configuration was a gravel/somethingelserocky train heading back to a quarry down near Goulburn. This freight service goes between that quarry and the new Holcim distribution centre near Rooty Hill.

Interesting to see them now running 8-car sets on the South West Rail Link. If I'm not mistaken they started out just using 4-car M-Sets.

Yes you care correct, 4 Car M Sets ran the SWRL when it opened right through to 13/12/2015.

MyLittleRapidash Yes, the link of Glenfield to Leppington started out like that, but then the timetable changes occurred which saw Leppington services extend to the City and the Cumberland Line.

The V Sets weren't the whole point of the video. There was suppose to be 2 V Sets however the second one was cancelled.

you predicted s sets going to leppington few weeks ago and im not surprised either. this lays to waste that media release from the govt about the air conditioned trains being on all timetabled services apart from olympic park.

Yeah i knew from the very beginning that this would happen. There wasn't even close to enough Waratahs to fully wipe out the S Sets. 48 S Sets remain. (4 car sets).
