the definition of incest varies depending on the culture. There used to be cultures where siblings got married and no one batted an eye, because it was just normal in the society. I guess the taboo came into existence because it could increase deformity statistically, but that is an inconvenience, not necessarily an evil in itself. Then, would there be any rational reason the society could prohibit a relationship between consenting adults, at least?
