This mess created by USA just has let a situation of" out of control "in Afghanistan .I think now USA should, what IK and Pakistan is suggesting ,to put a Govt there which is democratically elected by the people of Afghanistan (not by a govt imposed to them which USA did ) so that locals there support the govt ,don't join and support Talibans and become supporter of their govt .Locals of there (that is 45 % which are pastuns)now were and are sympathic towards Taliban and also because they think Taliban is guarding them against foreign influence and occupation .If this is not done by USA (which is being not consider by USA),there can't be peace in Afghanistan

I salute you Sir for you are the 1st and only Pakistani i have heard in my entire life who speaks of truth even in Afg matter bcz all my life, I heard my classmates remind me that we should be indebted to Pakistan for they helped us in Afg-Russian war.. Pakistan's Strategic Depth Policy started in the early 70s when ZA Bhutto invited religious extremists from Afghanistan. It was to sabotage Afghanistan's claim over the Pashtoon Territories in Pakistan and not accepting Durand Line as a permanent border. Zia just continued that policy and introduced and supported the Deobandi brand of Islam. After the widrawl of USSR and stoppage of USA funds, Pakistan kept that policy active and Hamid Gul invaded Jalalabad with the approval of Benazir Bhutto. When the interim Aghan government was formed after the resignation of Dr. Najib, they put the Durand Line issue infront of Burhanuddin Rabbani, which was refused. As a reaction Pakistan unleashed Gulbadin Hekmatyar on Kabul. In the mean time a trade convoy was organized to go through Chaman into Afghanistan all the way to Central Asia. Colonel Imam was leading that convoy, but it was intercepted by a Commander Mansoor (Uncle of General Raziq). Mansoor refused to let the convoy, and even put a pistol on Colonel Imam's head and told him to take it back. The convoy was turned back and at that time with the approval of Benazir Bhutto, General Naseerullah Khan Babar assembled a new brand of mercenaries from the old Mujahideens and named them Taliban. They were given full tactical and material support by the ISI all the way to Kabul. They assassinated everyone from the Past (Dr. Najeeb) and at present who opposed them. Taliban was never an indigenous force, they were raised, brainwashed, trained, and armed in the state sponsored seminaries. The same seminaries you mentioned, but they belong to Sami ul Haq not Fazal ur Rahman. Fazal ur Rahman made his faction in JUI when he refused to support the USA sponsored Jihad in Afghanistan. Javed Ahmed Ghamdi also parted his ways from JI when Qazi Hussain Ahmed supported the USA sponsored Jihad in Afghanistan. When USA attacked Afghanistan after 9/11, the Taliban and ISI officials were cornered in Kunduz. In one of his book, he described how he was surprised to find broad, well laid roads in Kabul, a modern airport and higher standard of lives in compared to then India. Afghanistan defeated only British. So not to hurt their ego, Brits paraded the false narrative of “graveyard of empires”. Before them no empire was defeated. Mauryas, Guptas, Ashoka, even as recently as maharaj Ranjit Singh ruled over Afghanistan. Muslims will not say because of fear but Islam is new communism. 1. Afghanis never liked US and USSR but they (Taliban) took US help to drag USSR and modern culture out of Afghan 2. Pakistan kept Mujaheddin alive and diverted them towards India for proxy Kashmir war 3. During US invasion they did not develop Afghanistan infra and culture properly and did not develop trust in 20 years. There was still wide level corruption where funds from US for roads/dam etc was eaten away by local landlords/contractors 4. Pakistan still supporting Kashmir rather than focusing on its internal issue and still trying to support Taliban and be the representative of Afghan so they can get more funds in name of Afghan people. And use it for Kashmir Jihad again or to fill their pockets. 5. India earned Afghan’s trust whether its common man or Taliban because they came and worked for their country’s development rather than using or looting them, no loans only development.
