Season one is on netflix right now! They're dropping season 2 on the 8 of September (I think I'm gonna just watch the ending of episode 5 about a hundred times in tears) and I'm hoping they're gonna drop season 3 the day they put it up on the Syfy network. Bill Bronson I agree actually I'm pleasantly surprised this series is so good!!!! I recently watched Firefly and I was looking for another scifi series after I finished it. I stumbled upon The Expanse not expecting much. But this is definitely the modern day Firefly, more serious and apocalyptic, with better CGI of course

I can't agree that this should be called a modern day Firefly, but that's just because I think Firefly shouldn't be compared to anything. It's just Firefly, nothing is like it. Sure they might both end up in the 10/10 rating category, but at such a high level you can't compare things to eachother, each show gets there for unique reasons.

Very unlikely, since we have several actors who play characters that only appear from Book 3 onwards. One specific character (played by Nadine Nicole) doesn't even have any reason to join the show before the end of Book 2. She joins because of the very events that happen at the end of Book 2. Some things were moved forward though, like the destruction of the Arboghast above Venus. In the books, it didn't happen until near the end. But it didn't hurt the continuity, and it served as an excellent ending to season 2. Also, 13 episodes for the last 30% of Caliban's War is too stretched out. I'd say 5 to 7 episodes.

The Arboghast came apart while Avasarala was still on Earth, which was in the first half, if not third, of the book, not towards the end. She went to an old friend to so he could analyse it for her. It is also possible that Clarissa/Melba will be introduced in season 3 and have her major role in season 4. It wouldn't be the first time the show has introduced characters before the books (Avasarala). I also said that season 3 will end with the end of book 2, *if not* at the beginning of book 3. Meaning my emphasis was that beginning book 3 is probably the end. Meaning we agree. Meaning this was rather pointless, bobblehead!

It was clearly stated in the book that the Arboghast died at the same moment the Roci crew destroyed the hybrid after Ganymede, so they got that right in the show. Also the recently unveiled episode titles indicates that the season 3 will in fact cover a part of AG.

The casting is a bit off - Amos is supposed to be a Jocko Willink / The Mountain type dude you take one look at and are like - he would beat a guerrilla in a cage match. Naomi is supposed to be a belter - and belters are skinny and tall not curvy. This is just an aesthetic point though. It still works but Amos just isn't a hard enough nutcase - it's not obvious he could even beat Miller or Holden in a fight. He needs to bulk up way more, gain a foot in height, do a grade zero and have plastic surgery to get a meaner face - scars would help. However - still the best show on TV.
