Hello everyone, I hope you and your loved ones are doing well and remain calm during this uncertain time. This is the very first video from the Arunachal Pradesh series, a semi-documentary approach, that I put so much work into. Let me know what you think of this video as your feedback means a lot to me! I went to Arunachal in February and left by early March, so this is a pre-recorded content. I am now back in my apartment in Kathmandu, Nepal and will focus on editing. Let's try to be positive as we can only accept our current situation and not worrying too much about the unknown. Sending positive thoughts to you and your loved ones!

Finally, I've been waiting for this Northeast Indian series! Despite knowing the location of Arunachal Pradesh in relation to South and Southeast Asia, it's still fascinating to see how similar the people are with Southeast Asians. Well, maybe not so much with our side in Maritime Southeast Asia, but more to the Mainland Southeast Asia. I've had khao lam in Thailand before so I got excited when I saw the peeling of the bamboo culm in this video. It's interesting that most men there don't seem to favor the lungi anymore seeing how it is still a big thing in Myanmar. And how cute is that lady who bode you farewell? ❤️ Masukan dikit boleh ya, Syifa? Although obviously you have upgraded your game with gorgeous drone shots and B-roll, I somehow prefer your old style of vlogging that felt more personal. I know you're probably still trying to figure things out but I hope we will get to see some of those personal touches in future videos. Semangat terus dan jaga diri baik-baik! 👍🏽

*All the Tai origin group living in India should help and extend their mutual support to each other so as to strengthen the "Tai-Brotherhood" and make Tai characteristics intact whether Racial, Ethnicity, Mongoloid, genetically similar physical characteristics. All Tai groups like Khamti, Ahom, Aiton, Faake, Turung, Khamyang, Lai etc. should increase and encourage their inter group cultural exchange & participation in Marriage, Ethnic Festivals, Languages, Ethnic Costumes, Religious sphere, Indigenous or Traditional beliefs🐉 etc. It's high time to realised what's happening around in other parts of India. Many ethnic/tribal group has already started losing their ethnic identity from the so called main lander (brahmanical) politico-religious-cultural dominance over other smaller ethnic/tribal groups. It's also important for all Tai groups in India to make good relationship with other Tai people inhabiting countries like China, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam to increase cultural exchange. And there's something to learn from the Jewish of Israel, Japanese society and Native Americans. Always remember, Assimilation always leads to extinction, where big cultures slowly eat the smaller ones. Rather try to promote Integration (mentioned in the Indian Constitution) where you can thrive, sustain yourselves and live your life with pride, dignity and honour. Be united and protect your identities.* #Realisation #ReviveToSurvive #TaiBrotherhood 🐉☯️

Hi there! At the very outset, I would like to thank you for all the wonderful work you are doing! I am a Tai Khamti who really hasn't been in touch with his roots but, through this video I felt a sense of connection to the few memories of my childhood;made me nostalgic of the few days I got to spend with my paternal family there. It's really touching to see people from belonging to different culture, taking the initiative to learn more and make others aware about certain things, which people are generally ignorant about. At the risk of repeating myself, thank you so much! Love your work and keep doing what you do! Best wishes!
