Did you use CA glue? If so, you may be able to remove it with acetone, though this may damage the plastic or microfiber. On the other hand, the other option is to replace the parts anyway.

Not sure what CA glue is...but it was the Gorilla Glue in a small bottle

I'm glad I have the leather wheel and shifter in my CTS-V. I wish I didn't have the alcantara inserts in the seats though, as leather would both look better IMO and be easier to keep clean. Alcantara is really the wrong fabric to use in vehicles, as it absorbs sweat and dirt, and is actually fairly delicate, and easy to damage.

I would replace with another suede one, it is a pain but I enjoy the wheel. I actually wear gloves in my other car to keep it fresh plus that wheel is over $3k to replace. Maybe I'll send this one out for custom work or something.

Much appreciated! I have a 2015 cts4 luxury collection model. Recently, the sunroof is making some awful creaking noise. It doesn't happen all the time. It is on and off. Are there any tips, please? 🙏 Dealership is asking quoted me for 2000$.

You can ATTEMPT to stop the creaking by retightening the sunroof attachement bolts. There's a video out there of someone doing it but it's not super clear. It involves removing all grab handles, visors, control console for sunroof, A B and C pillars, then the roof liner can come down and you can access the bolts. This fix is hit or miss. Dealers replace the entire sunroof mount to completely fix but it may come back one day. Sorry it sucks...mine does it too and I'll eventually make a video attempting to tighten the bolts.

Quick question: Why don't the new buttons have the logo for what they do? I've looked online as well and it seems that the replacements do have them either. If you don't already know what each button is for that would be a pain.

Hmm. Maybe you are looking at buttons meant for different models. For example not all cars have adaptive cruise and won’t have the button. Or I believe the ATS has TC in place of something different on the CTS

My Cady 2016 ATS left control pad is only missing the button's cap, Is it possible to swap the cap from another switch pad or I have to replace the entire switch pad?

You can’t just buy the button and it may be a challenge popping another one out as it’s tight clearance.

My first thought was, these fail? How does your suede wheel hold up? May be something I'm interested in. Also, my premium is an early model and has the ugly plastic airbag cover. Later models had the leather like yours.

Yeah that leather airbag cover really makes a difference in the quality feel. The CTS-V has suede trim on the bottom. The wheel needs a lot of attention. I have a video on my cleaning process.

I have a 2017 ATS V and cannot figure out the clips that attach the two wiring harnesses to the air bag. They are different than what you have. Every other video I've found has your same clips. Any idea?
