I have searched youtube for tutorials to help me with my production on fl studio, most videos say that they are going to tell you how to do it, when all they do is showcase their projects/sounds. your tutorials however, are the best around, and i would like to thank you for being such a great help to me and others.

Can you make a tutorial on making sweet melodies like the one in the video? I know it's not really related to sound design but it would be really sweet. By the way, great video and it helped me a ton. Thanks!

MusicMixxer With making nice and sweet melodies you just need your imagination.....if you listen to the teaser for my next track, i made that melody by using the chords as my guide. So basicly you make some nice chords and then in a new synth, make a simple but nice sounding melody that sounds good with the chords. then you go back and change some notes to your pleasing...sometimes melodies take awhile to make(IMO). In my new track i made the melody in about 1-2 hours. Enjoy! :)

Keno Thanks for the advice! I am having some easier times creating melodies, although it usually still takes me around 3 hours to make a decent melody. A trick I've discovered is to create the baseline first and then add the chords, followed by a riff at the top. Once again, thank you for the advice!
