আজকে গোলাপগঞ্জের ভাদেশ্বরের সেই Postal head ( পোস্টাল হেড অব বাংলাদেশ) যিনি লন্ডন থেকে আসা এক বস্তা চার আনা ভাউচার এর ফর্ম ঢাকা হেড অফিস থেকে সিলেটে পাঠিয়েছিলেন যেন সিলেটিরা বিনে পয়সায় লন্ডন তার পরিবার আত্বিয় স্বজন নিয়ে স্থায়ীভাবে থাকতে পারে সেই সুজগ করে দেয়ায় আজ বিশ্বনাথ, বালাগঞ্জ, জগন্নাথপুর, বিয়ানীবাজার আর মৌলভিবাজারি এরা লন্ডন যেতে পারছে কিন্তু আসলেই সত্যি হল সিলেটের সেই মহান ব্যাক্তির কথা যিনি বলেছিলেন " লাংগল টু লন্ডন " তা এদের ভাষায় আর এই নাটকের ব্যবহার এ আবারো উঠে আসলো, লাংগল থইয়া ইতায় লন্ডন গেছইন। এই কথাটিই আবারো সত্যি হল।

একটি ঘটনা শুনেন সিলেটি ভাইয়েরা.আজ থেকে ১২বছর আগে হবে আমাদের এলাকায় এক লন্ডনি পরিবার ২টা আবাদী জায়গা দিছিলো তাদের বাড়ি ও ব্যবসা বানিজ্য দেখাশুনার লাগি দেশে তাদের বয়স্ক বাবা দেশে ছিলেন শুদু তিনি দোকান ক্যাশে বসতেন. আবাদীরা বেতনভুক্ত ছিল থাকা খাওয়া লন্ডনি বাড়িতেই এভাবে ই চলছে .হটাৎ একদিন অই বয়স্ক চাচা কে আবাদীরা মেরে.দোকানের সব অনেক দিনের সব হিসাব নিকাসের জমানো টাকা পয়সা কাগজপত্র নিয়ে উদাও.সেই যে আবাদীরা চাচা মেরে গেল আর কোন হদিস পাওয়া গেল না.আবাদীরা বিষাক্ত সাপের মত কখন চোবল মারবে বিস্বাস নেই.তাই দেশে বিদেসে যত সিলেটি ভাই বোনেরা আছেন এদের থেকে দুরে থাকবেন.আপনি কিন্তু উদারতা

Been in the UK for four years only to discover the immigrants from a poverty hit country who once immigrated to Britain for third grade work and live with their family, now their offspring and the later generation behaves the worse of all can imagine. I lived in a country where the racism is a serious offence and we find, the inherits of those ancestors who once used to be a daily labor now shows racism to the people from the same country! Only difference, both talk differently. The East London, whose residents are still in poverty among other boroughs in London are the most ill behaved ones. Of course I did meet good number of descend people of the same origin, let me not mention the name of the hometown of the people I'm talking about from Bangladesh.
