Let me clear- sylosis is Josh's actual band he joined architect after Tom passed away, and Ali Bfw dummer he joined sylosis in 2015 after Rob accident

Sylosis is a little hard to describe, but I'd call them thrashy melodeath with some progressive influence.

Josh Middleton is the fuckin man, absolute genius. Most of the Josh fronted stuff is like thrashy melodeath, this song isn’t very melodeath tho, probably more metalcore than melodeath. Their older stuff particularly like their albums edge of the earth and monolith definitely got some prog metal stuff in them too. Very diverse band that doesn’t really fit into 1 specific metal genre.

@@centralia83 their recent stuff is a lot more metalcore than stuff like edge of the earth which was imo pretty much like a perfect mix of melodeath and thrash, stuff like deadwood definitely leans more into the metalcore tho
