Tbh even this goofy cat card hits different after the Myth. For one, Sylus is totally devoted to the MC and it probably genuinely hurts and offends him to think of her being fine handing him off to someone else. No one can truly "tame" Sylus, but there's little doubt he considers himself hers, even if she doesn't consider herself his. And he wants her to want him as much as he wants her. He doesn't want her touching him the way she does in that scene if it's just to give him away. Also, that scene in the end where he admits he doesn't remember the last time he was satisfied... damn. I think it's interesting that the MC replies that she is too EASILY satisfied, which contrasts directly with the version of her that existed in his Myth. Sylus connected with her back then because he fed her insatiable desire and related to her pain as a lonely outcast. Current timeline MC doesn't have that darkness to reckon with, yet he still tries to connect in the way he best knows how --- appeal to her desire. It was once the tactic he used to try to fatten her up and take her soul, but eventually it kind of became his love language with the MC. And her desire in that moment just happens to be fondling his cat ears lol. And who knows what else that we don't get to see XD

I'm glad they didn't pull another 'it was all a dream' stunt on us, kinda wish they would imply happenings on other cards just to poke fun iykyk kind of thing, thanks for posting! On another note, letting himself get cat-ified as punishment for petting a cat is not what I'd expect to be the plot of this memory. You'd think there was more resistance, or it's a part of his plan to hook MC and take her places (a convoluted excuse to spend time with her), especially considering he seems so at ease and seems to be waiting for her the entire time to show up at the cafe.

I feel like the more time Sylus spends with MC the more playful and relaxed he becomes. It’s like he knew she would enjoy this and so he just let it happen, being his usual fearless and confident self knowing that things would play out just fine and they’d both have fun with it. i mean let's be real the plot of all these cards is not really meant to be taken super seriously. however, sylus isn't really the type to be bothered by things like this. even when the manager was threatening him with having cat years forever he said the most non-chalant and sarcastic "oh, i'm so scared" because he's the type of character that remains unfazed by things others would freak out about. we rarely see him lose his cool and in the times we have seen it, it's usually related to MC.
