yeah, i think he's like a hybrid; a mix of a demon and a dragon. i'm so excited, it still doesn't feel real 😭also, the OST in this is so beautiful! in EN they don't use the word "demon" but they use the word "fiend" which has a similar connotation to demon i think? correct me if i'm wrong! english is not my first language but when i think of a fiend, i imagine a demon or a sort of evil creature.

TRUE! I remember I had to look up that word before in the Wander in Wonders event, they used that word "fiend" as well. Just wondering why they don't explicitly use the word Demon. Did they want him to look less evil? Even if they called him an EVIL dragon? XD aahahaha But yeah looking into it, Dragons were also looked at as Demons so either way goes. I think maybe because of the nature of his magic as a Dragon, he feels more Demonic Dragon than just a regular dragon to me. I had to watch the trailer N amount of times more after recording until I finally registered the BGM and you are right. It's BEAUTIFUL. T.T Giving Skyrim epicness vibes.

En VA Sylus just seemed to hit something in me every time he speaks. he really knows how to use his voice so well. Even simple conversations can melt me... Wahaha! There were so many thoughts after watching this trailer. And even more questions popping up too! Like could the "gem" on his chest be the aether core? And MC is being tasked to retrieve it to save Philos (i mean either she gets executed or killed by the sexy dragon)? Since enemies turn lovers, they could probably be trying to save each other and end up having to dig out the gem in Sylus to stay alive (being immortal)? Putting half in MC and another in Sylus. Omg!!! I can't stop thinking! The myth trailer just keeps getting me thinking! Can't wait!!!

I finally know how much my soul is worth. It’s this Sylus Myth Pair. I have about the eqivalent of 80 wishes sitting around right now, and maybe I’ll get lucky, but if I have to get out my wallet for this, then so be it. If this Myth isn’t worth me spending my money, then nothing else in the game will be 😂 Tbh your reaction was so real and if I had more privacy in my household, I probably would have screamed. I was practically shaking by the end of it. Apparently this fictional man has an even bigger effect on me than I thought. God, he’s so hot. And that MUSIC though. Oh, chills. 😭 I definitely figured Sylus wasn’t human, but honestly this revelation explains so much about him and his behavior. I might have to go back and replay Long-Awaited Revelry after I get through his Myth just to see how things hit differently. His greed, his intensity, his passion, the way he takes pleasure in flaunting his power and testing the MC-it all just feels like it makes so much sense. Heck, last night, after watching the trailer, I poked Sylus on my game homescreen and he made a comment about liking shiny things. I don’t even remember getting that line before, and it was a small thing, but it made me squeal. Yes, our sweet Sylus is a dragon who loves hoarding treasure lol.

And dunno what happened, something definitely happened from what we see in that tiny memory flashback in his Long Awaited Revelry story where he said "You must press on...because if you don't there's no going back" and MC was saying there's so much blood... I hope we get some lore here related to that scene in Long Awaited Revelry! I'm excited and can't wait... ahhhhh!! Love your reaction as usual, you are so relatable... hahahaha! This morning I was like HELLO LEMONETTE MY DEAR and used all my energy to take advantage of the double drops XD I think this out for MC is the BEST outfit I've seen since her Lumiere outfit. I am a SUCKER for dragon tail ornaments I just HAVE to have it. T.T I hope his Myth at least answers 10 questions we have before giving us 100 more new ones T.T Please!! I'm not sure if it's to tame or to slay but if the aim so to grab the treasure horde, I guess its to slay? But I'm just wondering why they would send HER lol Did they want her to seduce him??? Just thinking that Sylus loves gems and collects weapons it's such a dragon hoarder thing. But he does give them to MC, almost showers her with gifts, just shows how much he loves her 🥹 Poppies (if I'm not wrong that those flowers are them) are symbols of remembrance and hopes for peaceful future, maybe he just wants to live with her happily ever after. Right! I already thought it was interesting he was a collector of many things, vinyls, guns, motorcycles and what not it totally fits his dragon hoarding side. In English he called them Datura Flowers also known as devil's trumpet which is so fitting kekekeke but im not sure what the flower meaning it has. I have so much to say so Im apologizing right now ahead of my tangent. Your observation on the claymore! I didn't connect the two and now I'm sad again. Homegirl needed the power from his own protocore to kill him. :((( OK, so hear me out... Sylus's myth is eerily similar to Zayne's Foreseer myth. She sought out the Foreseer under the guise of being a palace consort or whatever in order to save her own life/prolong it but ended up falling in love with him throughout her stay. It shouldn't have been easy for MC to enter the Abyss bc Sylus was SEALED there, by what, IDK... and it is supposedly infested with Fiends! What was her mission? Is she destined to die again in that timeline and needs his protocore to live?? The man was sealed (as the Foreseer was isolated) so he shouldn't be a threat to the current civilization anymore. Their cat and mouse game starts. They fall in love (i can't tell by her deadpan expressions and plus her futile attempt at strangling him). Throughout it all, Sylus appears VERY calm throughout this ordeal and entertains her due to the difference in strength, almost as if he anticipated and had already accepted his fate of dying by someone's (her) hand. 💀 Was he alone the entire time he was there? You don't see signs of other life in the trailer. Did he want to live anymore after being imprisoned in the Abyss (and for how long)??? As an otherworldly being, is he capable of regeneration without the chest protocore? For current timeline Sylus, why did the protocore move to his chest from his eye??? Will MC and the LI's fate finally change in the main story's timeline as things converge? Zayne is doing research on the protocore, Xavier is still looking for THE protocore, and Sylus is trying to change things too. Also, I might be alone in thinking this but I was hoping he would look more dragon-like. Like his lower half would have taken on a more scaley form so he would essentially be a pant less behemoth (but then battle wise, he needs a reg and R1 fit or he'd be half naked, literally). He has the talons and tail but he still assumes the human half for the lower body. Rafayel's body physically changes as a Lemurian and takes on different features when the Sea God possesses him so I'm surprised Sylus doesn't have a less human form as the other non-human. Does he sprout wings physically or do they only appear in battle as a corporeal form?

I really thought he would be a demon with all the fiend references and one demon reference at the plushie machine. But he is more of a dragon than a demon? But he has horns? Apparently in the CN community, players were saying that he is a demon...that it was clearly mentioned in the CN version? Idk i only saw people talking on reddit about this. But yeah, he does seem like somewhere between a dragon and a demon. Also, did anyone notice how he looks completely similar to that one art that was making rounds on Twitter? With the protocore heart, the lines running across his chest and everything and the horns too! Like, in the flashback scene in the main story we don't really see his face, but his myth look is completely similar to that art! I was so shook by the accuracy of all the details or is it that Infold saw.the art style and pretry much went with it? 😅 The timing of this to me feels a little off honestly Xavier's branch story will be completely overshadowed by Sylus's myth and idk wht Infold did this knowing...even if it doesn't completely overshadow, the initial excitement for Xavier's branch story will definitely be affected since the Myth is coming before the branch story. Idk i just feel like it would have been better if they released the Myth atleast a week into Xavier's branch story. Now where the f do i get diamonds 😭. I really thought they would wait till Jan to release Sylus's myth since December was already packed with Xavier's branch story and a Christmas banner. They could have given us a Zayne free card since we haven't gotten it yet. That way they could have released the Myth in Jan as a New Year gift lol. I just feel like it would have been better that way and Xavier would have gotten the attention he deserves and I say this as a Zayne/Sylus girlie. Man didn't even get his photobooth event yet. We have been waiting for the Myth cards for so long, I would have gladly waited another month. So yeah, as much as I am happy about the myth, I really have beef about the timing. I don't know if the monthly revenue rank is important to them business wise because it seems they do not want a month to go by without them releasing a banner that would generate revenue. Honestly rather than a quad banner, it could've been a solo banner. Xav hasn't had one in a while and Sylus desperately needs more cards for orbits. I REALLY thought they would release his myth next year, but something tells me another batch of myths will be out next year so they don't want a repeat myth banner drop for one LI maybe. I honestly think he is more like a Demon than a Dragon. It would explain the nature of his Evol and why he would feel weak on daytime. I just think they use a weird word when translating. Fiend does mean “the Devil” technically speaking (it used to mean that basically), but nowadays it is commonly used to refer to a cruel person or someone who does wicked things. So it feels off when they call him “the Fiend” but the way they capitalize the word makes me think they totally meant to call him the Devil. The Dragon bit I don’t understand though 😂 the whole description about how “dragons” feed on humans souls… and how they drive humans to become slaves to their desires… I love fantasy and that tends to be demons whole thing. I laughed so hard with this video 😂 I’m surprised how fast you realize that claymore seems to be the same from mc’s flashback. It didn’t even crossed my mind. Also, same… I want the myth pair, but how am I supposed to fight with that huge and slow chunk of metal? 😭

I think it kinda works since there are some form of stories out there that portray the devil as a dragon. I think the horns and the bat like wings sorta fit I guess. I definitely think he is more Demon than Dragon, like a Dragon-type Demon. While personally I think the distinction is important for the accuracy of the story, I really think its fine for fans to decide which they like more. hehehe it's two sides of the same coin in the end. And yes! His powers about tapping into desires??? SUPER DEMONIC! I love it! Can't get enough of it!! I just want this myth to drop already T.T TBF MC's flashback with the ONLY crumb we had when it came to Sylus' past so ya girl had it burned into memory. It's like the ONE THING I kept looking for bwahahahahahahaha I had no idea it would be a freaking CLAYMORE tho but FAIR. For a being like Sylus??? Understandable. I did some research and dragons are indeed seen as hellish/represents evil so i guess it fits. Hes a demonic dragon (??) Edit: so Tartarus is a place where sinners are sent after death to be punished and judged. So will we finally find out what MCs crime is?

Yes! Tartarus is a kind of "hell" and its fitting for the theme if they consider Sylus a demon. I wonder, yeah. I feel like she was sent to retrieve something and she has to take down the "evil dragon" to do so and earn her freedom.

For the game, you can play all routes for each LI, so when you play a route where MC romances Sylus, then in that route then yeah she is bound to Sylus (I'm guessing from the bite mark in the trailer - still speculation but in the Linkon TL it seems they have a connected aether core) . In each route with a different LI it seems MC is bound by something, Zayne - Fate/Destiny, Rafayel - Oath/Promise, Sylus - Souls, Xavier - I'm...actually not sure. But in some way or another they are bound, yeah.
