It's a beautiful place of rest and this is some amazing footage you captured in the snow. We paid our respects a month ago and met the resident graveyard cat. Scarf, i think she is called. A very friendly feline.

Is she cuter than me? Huh? HUH? Does she have a majestic fluffy Norwegian forest cat mane like mine? Well, then. Just zip it!

@@Venmaylove no she isn't as cute as you but she's a lot less high maintenance!

Hi Devan, I couldn't agree more that Plath's grave needs some serious tending and cleaning. Thank you for your comment, and for watching this video. pks

I really wish someone would be able to refurnish her grave stone. Of course, it's eroded due to the passage of time, but she deserves a nice, clean stone that clearly shows her name and that fantastic inscription which perfectly sums up the intensity of her life: "Even amidst fierce flames/the golden lotus can be planted."

I visited graves of a few famous people. But Sylvia Plath's is the only one where somebody else came to pay their respects when I was there.

Hope people stop defacing her name inscription- it's absurd and very disrespectful, whatever the 'reason' you might think you have.

It must have been difficult getting up that hill and back down again in those conditions.
