tu sais cette chanson me touche au ond de mon ame... j'avais un frère de 18 mois plus jeune... Mon frère, mon amour, mon fils... Il s'est pendu à l'age de 35 ans. Trop fragile. On se rejoindra..

Sylvie sang other Hungarian songs too. For example Disparu (Várj, míg felkel majd a nap - by Ferenc Demjén). She sang a folksong "Debrecenbe kéne menni" in Hungarian in the Hungarian Television. She learned it from her Hungarian mother Ilona.

Sylvia's other Hungarian succes was "Je veux d'aimer". Its original title is "Apám hitte" sung by Zorán Sztevanovity, composed by Zorán Sztevanovity and Gábor Presser, lyrics by Dusán Sztevanovity. She sang the Hungarian-French composer Joseph Kosma's world famous song "Les feuilles mortes" (Autumn leaves, Hulló levelek) too.

You were wrong Máté Péter left at the age of 37. I also really liked him, although the style of my musical favorites wasn’t exactly the same as his.

Hey, dear french people! Do you know this song is the french version of original hungarian music? If you like this music than look at the "Máté Péter - Hull az elsárgult levél" video on the youtube! ;)

Thanks for Sylvia this song became world famous song. The original version had no chance to be. It was written in Hungary in the eastern block. The speciality of the hungarian lenguage also not supported that. Nobody understand it......

Sylvie Vartan is half Hungarian. Hungarian is literally her mother language.
