The Symbiote Costume, also known as the Black Suit named by fans, is the first brand new change of costume donned by Peter Parker in the first published Amazing Spider-Man 252​, and chronologically donned in Secret Wars 8. To fight Norman Osborn after he bonded to the Carnage symbiote, Spider-Man briefly re-bonded to with the Venom symbiote and gained a modified version of his black costume.

From 1:50 I love how music can literally change the feeling of this heroic scene, with the song It's My Time then Miles looks so heroic and he's ready for *his time* and now with the Black suit mod and the new soundtrack, this time it's heroic in a dark way as there's something else also with Peter while he's swinging around the city

It’s kind of off-putting with how well the Advanced suit design actually compliments the black suit’s look! The white highlights on the heels and the gloves that reach up to the forearm really add some much needed color balancing, even if it’s slight. The original design is great of course, but the white square isn’t really enough since it’s not always visible, you know? Depending on who’s drawing and inking it, the design can look a little naked, so it’s nice to see ways this can be remedied in certain media.The second phase of the black suit of the Spectacular TV series achieves this in a different way with webbing only on the gloves, head, and boots, and it remains classic yet way better with balancing the white around the body. On the other hand, though, sometimes there’s too much white, as seen by that 2017 cartoon that has it on way too thick lol

To be honest, i think Insomnaic Games didn't choose the White Spider logo for the Advanced Suit by accident. 😉 Speaking of the Black Suit. Isn't it just weird that the Black suit will appear (well at least what the theorys are saying) in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 AFTER that Miles got his powers? Or is it just me? I mean Peter is been Spider-Man almost a decade now in this game. And i'm pretty sure he's been through a lot. But like getting the Black suit just now? Seeing this makes me want a remaster of Spidey: Web of Shadows. If not that then I hope the next Spider-Man game has a huge focus on the symbiotes. It looks like it’s heading in that direction from what we saw Norman Osborn looking at in the after credits cutscene. I will completely lose my mind if we get a Spider-Man game where you can play as Peter or Miles throughout the campaign and they both have the ability to switch between using symbiote powers and their normal skills like in Web of Shadows. It would be good business if they planned to release said game around when Venom: Let There Be Carnage comes out in theaters. It’s good time to be a fan of comics and video games my friends

I think insomniac may not use this type of design for the black suit... I hope that with the Black suit for Pete, it'll mostly only show the Spider, and those other details, like the white armour bits on the arms and feet. What I mean by that is that it'll get rid of the cuts between the old red and blue parts (eg. Shoulders) and make him more bulky and make his eyes more sharp. Damn, I really can't wait for SM 2!
