Great video. Thank you. I got this backpack, too. And you're right, it's very heavy. In addition, because of the fact that it has a lot of room, you're easily tempted to put too much stuff inside and it's getting extremely heavy in total...

Yup. There are occasions where you just need a huge backpack (long haul hikes with limited resupply points) but realistically, it's rare.

the hook on the top is for a water bladder to hook on to when you are using a camel pack.. the zipper on the bottom is a sleeping bag storage area.. just fyi.. thanks for the review

Yup, thanks for the addendum :) If you watch one of my Polish Mountains thru-hike vids, you'll note I had figured that out to some nasty consequences (the pack from decathlon broke and spill all the water inside my pack).

I have a very similar bag (Symbium too) and I never figured how to regulate the height in the back of the pack... now I know why 😅

Indeed thanks. here in India, Quechua has established itself as quality brand buy unfortunately not many customer/users reviews of its products available online so thanks very much. I shall encourage to post reviews of other quechua products that you may have.

Thanks for your comments, it is much appreciated. As for other products, we did a review of a Quickhiker tent as well. I actually contacted Decathlon and offered to review some stuff for them but I guess they were not impressed with the number of views so I don't think I can do much more than that.

I put my 70-pound daughter in my pack and took her on a 1 mile hike. That's as much weight as I would want to pack in it. But, it wasn't horrible. The thing is definitely built, TOUGH.
