+AnthicZ To turn off time stamps, plug in the CS4070 scanner, it will show up in your computer's file system similar to a USB drive. Open it up and navigate to the file 'Parameters'. Inside that file open Config.ini (Copy a backup before editing.) and delete the date and time formatting so that they are blank. (remove the mm/dd/yy for example) That should eliminate the time stamp.

+POSGuys.com Hi guys, I have news from Motorola. Unfortunately you can delete the date and time formatting from config.ini, but firmware is not ready for this functions, after saved and reopened confing.ini, a date and time formatting was back. So i must hope for repair in the new firmeware update, because without update are both stamps with scanner forever.

+AnthicZ Unusual, engineers at Zebra (Motorola) confirmed that it would work and when we tested it on the CS3070 (a very similar 1D version of this scanner) it did. Make sure that when configuring your scanner your last step is editing the Config.ini as the 123Scan may be overriding your changes.
