If you divide a circle into two parts along its diameter, you will get two semicircles of same size. Why does this happen? The answer is symmetry - the property of being made up of exactly similar parts around a line. The circle is symmetric about its diameter. The diameter of a circle divides it into identical semi-circles, and thus, diameter in this case is the line of symmetry. Look around and the world is full of symmetrical shapes and objects.
We at Byju's Classes strongly believe that a spirit of learning and understanding can only be inculcated when the student is curious, and that curiosity can be brought about by creative and effective teaching. It is this approach that makes our lectures so successful and gives our students an edge over their counterparts.
