Following the passing of Seiji Ozawa, I have found solace in viewing various recordings of his performances. Each presentation is profoundly enriching and satisfying, with providing a showcase for his exceptional artistry. Very unlikely seems the prospect of encountering a conductor of his stature and caliber in the foreseeable future.

I've heard many wonderful stories of Ozawa really getting the most out of the young musicians at Tanglewood...even more than Bernstein...rest in peace Maestro...one of my favorite conductors.
...100 times better than this really crappy version of Esa Pekka Salonen conducting this, with his heartless, robotic interpretation...Ozawa is much better.
