I have the Helios and the only thing missing sometimes is bass in some songs. If I EQ it though, it’s excellent. Sounds like Symphonium figured this out and made the crimson.

Give Fiio KA17 a try if you are using the dac/amp dongle, the slightly boost in bass & treble could hit your target. L'm also using the Helios.

I love the Crimson. It's a great companion to my Prestige LTD. The Crimson is overall a little more dynamic and in your face. But the Prestige LTD is more spacious, a touch more detailed and more laid back and lets the music do its thing. I personally use the Prestige LTD more as I love it's soundstage, depth and imaging. But sometimes swap it when I crave that more in your face, dynamic sound. Amazing iems 😁👍

OMG this was some serious damage right there. Show me a graph that distinguishes BA vs DD bass. Please don’t Cry Head-Fi 😮 OMG that was smart. Of course cables make a difference nowadays especially in harmonics and tonality.

I learned that the bass shelf of BA bass has to be quite a bit higer then with dynamic driver, as Symphonium Meteor proves. Of course if you don’t like ba bass , that’s that. I really love the bass of Meteor though🙋‍♂️❤️

People who have tried many kilobuck sets say there aren't many improvements you can make after around $1,500 but the legendary Subtonic Storm seems to be the only exception to that rule apparently.

No BA so far can match the physicality and air movement of Nightjar Duality proto or Bonneville

Hi Sajid, how do the technicalities compare with the Electron 12, U12t and IE 900? I am looking for an IEM in the $1500 - 2000 range as available in India and these are the options. My chain is generally Spotify with Chord Mojo 2. And while I listen to almost anything other than thrash, my library is mostly mid range focussed. Details and imaging are priorities for me.
