That is pretty awesome, I guess the only downside is you have to hear whatever is going on in the theater while on your deck. But the sound proofing provided by that glass is stellar.

We actually chose this cabin because we like people watching and hearing/seeing the aqua show (and all the other fun shows they do out there). It's really nice, and like you said, the sound is not bothersome / loud once inside the cabin and the door is shut. If it were loud, our 9-month-old certainly would not have slept! Happy travels!

What an incredible treat to be in a suite like that! Our splurge is getting a balcony room overlooking the ocean. We like to be as close to the center of the ship as possible to have the least chance of motion.

While I'm sure the additional room and the genie makes it all worthwhile, there's always a tradeoff. We were on Mariner just before Thanksgiving and one day we took naps - our midship balcony cabin with the door open provided the breezes & sound of the passing ocean...wish we had your bathroom though ...more tradeoffs 😉 Thanks for sharing and glad you had a wonderful time.

We were on Symphony in October, just stayed in a regular balcony room but I gotta tell ya, I had to open that sliding door so often. Even with the thermostat on the warmest setting, I was frozen solid. I know it was cold bc my hubby who has NEVER in his life been cold (we live in Florida) even got chilly. The ONLY way to get warmer was to open the balcony doors. Very poor design. However, I loved hearing the ocean as I fell asleep. LOL

Genie is great. You can for example get placed on a lovely excursion vip style and request that on arrival back fresh veggie dip guac salsa chips and snacks are waiting .....etc....think of personal house and entertainment assistant plus

Wow what an amazing place. I’ve been trying to find the perfect room that can comfortably fit a decent amount of people. Now do you know if this suite can fit 8 adults or does it work as 6 adults and 2 children? Also, if you wouldn’t mind how much was the cost per person or the total for 4 guests for that aqua theatre room? Would love to really find out, I’m trying to find a room that has a lot of space to be comfortable, can fit the most amount of guests (I feel like 8 is definitely a perfect max amount) and the most affordable (even though I know it’s going to be a decent amount, I’m okay with spending that amount with my friends and family)

Well this cabin can fit eight people, I think eight adults would be a bit too snug. You certainly can have eight adults in there I just would not be happy if I had to sleep in one of the bunkbeds. The cost will greatly vary depending on the time you book at the ship you choose and how many people, and itinerary. It’s best to call Royal directly to get a specific cost for what you’re wanting.

Was just on SOTS last week. Wondering how soundproof the room is? That’s to say, if there’s a concert, TV/Movie going on outside - are you able to hear it if you’re trying to sleep? Wife and I had a Jr. Suite with a walk-in closet, my parents and brother/sister-in-law had full suites without one. Guess there are trade offs with the different suites/packages?

Hello! The first two cruisers pay about equal price, then, for the second and third or more in a scenario it’s a tiered price (pretty much just taxes and fees). If you have a group it’s best to take the total cost and just divide by how many people. Regarding pricing- prices fluctuate by sailing and date. It’s best to inquire with Royal or a travel agent directly to inquire about specific pricing.

The whole ship is huge so you definitely need to be used to walking. I did not mind the walk to our cabin at all. We do not have any issues with the Internet.

That cabin is very nice looking. But what never ceases to baffle my mind is how freaking narrow the doorways are on those ships. People like myself who are in wheelchairs hate narrow doorways with a passion. You would think this particular cabin wouldn't have such narrow doorways because it is considered a suite but low and behold, it still does. Therefore I can't imagine how expensive that suite must cost and yet it still wouldn't work for someone like myself. Good Lord.....

You have to ask for wheelchair compatible rooms specifically. Those rooms have wide enough doors than the average 24”. Also, many cruise ships have mobility scooters you can use.

Yes Sir, minimum 11K plus, an extravagance that the top 10% are use to, a tax write-off for many. The noise from the amphitheater must be annoying, for that alone, I would never rent this suite. Plus, that huge ship, you're staying in a floating, wannabe amusement park, with minimal entertainment return on investment. Best wishes.
