Do they never honk in Port Everglades?

Yes. Some ships sound their horns when leaving Port Everglades. I’ve been on several Princess ships that sound off (love boat theme) when sailing out of the harbor - in response to many residents in the high rises waving and sounding horns on their balconies. This is one of the reasons I like to book a balcony on the port side when sailing out of Port Everglades. We’re leaving this Saturday on the Sky Princess out of Port Everglades. Fingers crossed that they sound of when sailing out.
