JP is the best, most under rated guitar player that I know of. He is awesome!!!

This song chokes me to my core with emotion. I've cried to it as I try to sing along for YEARS now.

I've always loved collaborations between classical and non-classical musicians, and this is one of the most seamless ones I've seen! I admit this is an odd comparison, but the virtuosity and storytelling on display here put me in mind of Billy Joel breaking into Rootbeer Rag!

Besides JP's stellar playing, how about his voice ? Man. he sings real good. And this song is such a beautiful tragedy. I love the way he starts with the chorus, and as he sings the verses, more and more meaning comes as he repeats the chorus and the last time is a heartbreaker.

25 or 30 years ago my late wife and I attended MerleFest, in western North Carolina. We were sitting at the main stage one afternoon when a new act was introduced. It consisted of a guitarist, someone playing the keyboards, and a bassist. I had never heard of the guitarist, but after that one set - the only time I've ever seen him live, unfortunately - I was a fan. I've been a fan ever since, and Kelly's Mountain is still my favorite.

Bern a GL fan since 1972. Love this song. One of Gords best melancholy songs. Bought a black Takamine guitar from J P quite some time ago. Was sent to me from Canada to Denmark. Lovely guitar ❤️

Jp that is one to be proud of. I mostly watch you talk about guitars. This is the first time I have seen you perform. When you talk about boucher I will picture you playing this one and know that you know what you are talking about!
