This track I wrote is called Synaesthesia…
It’s just a raw mix from (2018)
I played everything on this music.
Drums (Simmons Drums)
Percussion, Timbales, Bells, Shaker, Congas.
Roland JX8P
Rhythm Bass guitar and Lead Bass.
These tunes I would first start with the drums and as I layer the drums I would invision the structure of the music, from there layering part by part… Bass would be second and so on.
Drums and bass would be 1 take only.
Keyboards I was challenged to play it so that would take longer and I had to play multiple takes till I got what I wanted, always in chunks and without editing the parts.
Had to be done and get done.
