Would you consider doing a video on endocanabinoids? I understand this is the only class of molecules that move from the post-synaptic cell to pre-synaptic receptors. I would be very interested to learn how these compounds inhibit cellular excitation and help regulate homeostasis.

Sir could you tell how an animal memory works, by using an example of a simple store and retrieve. For example, let's say i see and eat rice for first time and some 10 nerve cells 'fire'. If i see it the 2nd/3rd time, how that previous image and feel is retrieved. Please guide me.

Good job Ren. I have two questions: (1) Is there a different ion, similar to K+ in the axon, that exits the axon terminal after the C++ ions enter the terminal? (2) How do the Ca++ ions return to the extra cellular fluid, after the vesicles release their nuerotransmitters? Is there something similar to the sodium/potassium pump in the axon?

Calcium pumps, pump ca++ out of the cell
