my south node is conjunct his venus and his venus is conjunct my south node. My venus is conjunct his mars.. his mars is aspecting my venus. My venus is conjunct his sun, mercury, and mars. His jupiter and saturn is conjunct my mars and saturn. they aspect my moon and sun. Guess what? We are engaged. I was scared i would not be able to progress, but i did. Don't be afraid of this synastry. If you have other things going for you, everything will work out. There's LOTS of lust and mutual love between us. The intimacy is amazing. I have this with a good friend, my Moon conjunct his SN (and mine) and his Venus conjunct my SN (and his) (we have same SN a few degrees apart) and somehow we never ended up in a romantic relationship although we had plenty of opportunities it was always a push and pull, when he was willing I was not and the other way around. I guess it can be due to the fact that we met in our 30s and we both been through the ringer (having such personal planets next to our SNs) and each of us was little bit evolved from what our SN (and the conjunction) meant for us. In my case I have a stellium (Mars, Venus, MC) close to my NN so I guess that played a role too. Many times it felt like we were recovering addicts from the same addiction. I think Mars conj South Node is considered ok. Ketu or south node has a dissipating effect so over time, aggression and anger issues are dissipated & relationship becomes more peaceful. This also indicates past life lover so the intimate life is usually very good also. ;)

Venus conjunct South Node in Synastry being indicated as "past lovers" is too cliche because the nodes are "generational" or a lot of people in the same age can have the same North Nodes/South Nodes that's why I love the realistic explanation that you have here Jewel! I have Venus in Leo conjunct someone's South Node in Leo/opposite his North Node in Aquarius and I totally felt surreal "familiarity" about him but I was the only one inlove between the two of us so, end of story. I have North Node in Leo while that person has North Node in Aquarius so that means that we will go to the opposite direction in this lifetime even if we "might have been" lovers in our past lives. I still wish him happiness in this lifetime though. I can only give a sigh on this matter, I apologize for writing a lot of personal things here. I recently had an interaction with someone: My Venus in Libra conjuncts my NN, his Mars in Libra conjuncts his SN, my NN conjuncts his SN, my Venus conjuncts his Mars. Pulling in different directions but very powerful. This NN/SN config was backed up with other similar themes, ie. both have Libra Asc, both have natal 1st house Suns, both have a Sun opposition to a planet in the 7th, DW Venus Mars conjunct (second one in the 1st house) and a whole lot of Scorpioness for extra toppings. Strong 1st house overlays on my side along with the same asc. 75% of the natal personal planets are in Libra/Scorpio. Unfortunately major age difference, passionate and intense but unrequited, I could have easily fallen. I also find that most natal charts will back up their natal NN/SN energies in some prominent way or another.

+xama Lancaster Not always. It depends on how ones own Kentucky is aspected. If there are planets there it shows someone who is Perone to staying in their known comfort zone and so they enjoy relationships that enforce this. If there are planets on the north node, a person is trying to break out of their past patterns and can feel stifled or held back by the south node person. It depends on the person's own perceptions in their own natal chart.

@@soumisoumimi4075 There's a movie that seems to illustrate this connection called, "The Break-up" maybe a little exaggerated, but it was reminiscent to me of both relationships I've been in where one guy had his S. Node conjunct my moon and another had his S. Node conjunct my Venus. I agree. ~ The best way I can describe the way it worked is; In Vedic astrology the S. Node is known as ketu. Ketu is def complicated, but from my understanding it typically is dissatisfaction and detachment, along with the positive things mentioned in this video. This is what happened. They didn't give a **** how I *felt* (Moon) or what I *cared* about (Venus) N. Node /S. Node aka Rahu/Ketu axis is a teeter totter. It felt like a cyclone they pulled me into, beyond what would be considered "hot and cold" behavior or bipolar. It was more like they blamed me for getting sucked into their Ketu. When you're their Ketu expect to "sit on the bench" A LOT. But when they are in the mood or feeling down (bc that's what Ketu is something familiar we fall back on when our Rahu is disappointing) they will be all over you and you're *everything* until you're *nothing* (I've dealt with plenty of narcissists, too. This is beyond that as well.) (Btw, I was unaware of astrology during every relationship I've ever had during my 15 years of dating, now I use those relationships and astrology to help me understand wtf was going on) Point being, why would you want to be with someone who feels dissatisfaction and detachment where you feel (moon) or love (Venus) ...especially if they have North node planets in their chart.

I just found a bunch of old comments. Cringe. For the last 2 years, all I do is meet people with nodal connections. But I've still never had this work out when anyone's moon or venus connects to my south node (which is also conjunct my Saturn & square my Sun/Pluto) - eeek! to the point I won't even consider it anymore. I am finding that anything south node oriented is an immediate attraction/recognition but also tends to phase out really fast also unless there is also something going on at the north node as well. I also read somewhere that folks with natal Saturn conjunct South node do not really like to "live" at the South node as it's pretty harsh for them so that may be another reason I don't like to connect there. I have had two female longtime friends (born different years) where my mars is conjunct their north nodes and my moon is conjunct their south nodes. Over time, there needed to be boundaries & we saw each other less & less b/c the south node can be pretty draining & themes can get repetitive but definitely a deep & caring connection with lots of natural empathy. One is now deceased and the other is still a good friend but we don't hang out as much as we used to. If your south node is a peaceful place and their venus is relatively unafflicted, I supposed it can work fine. Lately, I find I am attracting more people where my Moon & Venus conjunct their North Node and my Mars conjuncts their South node. Maybe that will work better? Moon & Venus are typically benefics for north node and it's better to have the malefics positioned at the South end (so the Vedics say, anyway) but it probably works better since I don't have anything clashing my Moon & Venus. It depends on your own personality and love nature as well so use your own judgment. I can imagine a late in life love match having some South node connections. Not a lot of ambition but just pure comfort. ;)

My venus is conjunct his south node (2 degree orb), interestingly his mom's sun is conjunct his south node. I think my jupiter (although in wide orb 7 degrees) is conjunct his north node, so I think this could help with any issues regarding possible stagnation or limits to growth.

How do you interpret a person who has a Venus Moon opposition - his 8th house venus within 1 degree of my South Node Aries. His moon however is on my North Node and Pluto. So I feel like it changes from this video interpretation. Even though he is doing his Venus, it’s at odds with his moon. Hey Jewel, how does this work out when: I have Venus conjunct south node in my natal chart, and my venus conjuncts the south node of the guy I'm going out with, we're born close to each other. How does that come out? Am I more prone to help him go over his North Node as I'm also moving towards mine?Also this conjunction happens in the 9th house.

Do you beleive if that a womans had south node in leo and that it conjunct with a mans venus, would that woman have to wait for the north node to activate then they can be together?

No. The north node is always active and looking to bring in new experiences. A south node contact is usually good, especially Venus.
