I cannot put into words how much this is helping me as a beginner. Everyone just tells me to watch challenger gameplay to learn matchups. But these players are so much more advanced than me that it is almost impossible to take away anything meaningful.

This is awesome, I died so many times against Katarina feeling pressured to slowpush waves into her because I felt like that is what I'm supposed to do as a scaling mage. You kind of opened my eyes that sometimes in certain matchups it's fine to just give lane priority in order to be safe.

Hey Coach, revisiting your video once more. These highly detailed wave Management guides are amazing! I'm learning so much! Just wanted to know. Syndra has much better scaling than Ahri, however, I'd probably play the matchup similarly the first few levels until 6 and would try to 2- 3 stack into roams as my go to strategy on Ahri I suppose? Or how would you play that one out since Yasuo also outscales Ahri! Would you still run EC on her in this case? Or would you FS and stack gold ? Sorry for all the questions 😅😅 and thanks as always!

vs Yasuo i recommend playing to scale and hit 6 then post 6 play to roam. Yasuo is a very hard matchup so you could even consider banning it

nice video! my biggest problem against this champions is in mid game, when i ( with a control mage champ ) have to play in a sidelane against them. I always get outfarm/outscaled/outlevel in this situation. Maybe a video about this is good in the future!

I recommend checking out the mid game section of the guide i did with Curtis. Most likely were not valuing our life enough and going for front to backs :)

Yasuo was already a very hard matchup and now his windwall blocks the entirety of Syndra's E... Dunno if a bug or a feature.

Against Xerath we want to push him in or keep the wave neutral. that way he has to answer to the wave while we can poke him. IF he gets prio the tables are turned and we dont want that

How about river crab? JG fights for the crabs sometimes. If we let the lane be pushed in, it takes longer for me to get to the river than the enemy. And sometimes the assassin(opponent) hides in the bush so that I'm afraid of going to the river.

No crabs on the menu, we are not able to fight for it anyway since syndra is so weak early

I'm ahri OTP and feel that most of the runes and the gameplay strategies you mention in your videos for Syndra would also apply to Ahri, except for maybe the scaling part. Do you think these runes are applicable in the different matchups (fizz, Leblanc, Katarina,etc .) or would you take fundamentally different runes on Ahri? Thx so much!

@@johannesbuchheim2185 i do think theyre applicable! especially the eary/ bone plating ones. Instead of first strike i do recommend electrocute on ahri though
