Started the beta last night not knowing what to expect. 8 hours later and couldn’t get enough. Never really got into extraction games before but now I’m hooked. Combat seemed somewhat simple overall, but I never got tired or annoyed with it. I really enjoyed the crafting system to replace your lost gear from failed sorties without spending cash, as well as upgrading the base with materials collected to unlock new features. Can’t wait to see what new weapon types and customization options the full game will bring.

I was really interested in this game, but after seeing that it's mostly PvP-focused and revolves around a season pass, I realized it’s not for me. Unfortunately, I just don’t have the time or energy to play every day. It’s a shame because I was genuinely excited about it.😮‍💨

It's mainly pve you don't have to pvp but that dosnt mean others won't attack you during that last beta I stayed mostly pve and didn't attempt to pvp til the last day and I hit lvl cap in the beta just play cautiously and watch out for other players it's not hard to avoid people if your watching for them

Yeah the moment they described the method of pvp I instantly got the division flashbacks at @$$#0!3$ camping outside of spawn locations and taking people out for easy loot The moment you start rewarding it, being a camper against people is easier than actually trying to play the game so I'm just gonna sit this out till I'm proven otherwise

​@@kiriuxeosa8716 people don't share extract locations. Its not quite like the darkzone where there are like 3 spots that everybody always sees. There are several extract zones and only certain ones are active based on your load in location. So it's very rare for 2 people to have the same extraction location marked for them. Only time people know if your are extracting is if they are close enough and it pings them about an extract. Otherwise they don't know

A few requests in and coop becomes possible, run into a player, initiate coop. It lasts a mission and you can do it often

I really want this game to succeed, but right now it feels kinda bare. There needs to be more variety in mechs, weapons, and systems. I hope more get added until and after the release cause I had fun, I love the overall vibe of the game and I have been craving a survival/extraction looter mech game since I saw armored core 6 trailer featuring a mech carrying loads of stuff on its back. I really hope this game succeeds cause the idea behind it is great, but it just needs more stuff. More challenges, more items, more reasons to fight other players (that literally never happened once during my gameplay). The weapons also need more variety than just submachinegun - machinegun - rifle - sniper rifle - shotgun. Also, give me ways to actualy customize my mech other than just parts. Give me colour options, decals, cosmetic pieces, etc. Magus customization is cool and all, but I wanna customize what I'm playing as.

pvp is on your own accord its more of a PK on MMO, if your teammate will kill you or not. at some point, i got 3 stranger who teamed up just to kill me lol. im playing the beta of the game and my only gripe is the location of items, they dont really show where to look at.

So, we'll have three kinds of players then: - Looters/Collectors - Griefers - Bounty Hunters A pretty effective triangle, but one I don't particularly enjoy as a looter/collector.

I can tell you from the Test that its actually possible to avoid players. The players I encountered where not into PvP that much and even if they would be PvP players: Your Magus tells you if it detects players nearby. So unless someones snipes from a far distance, its actually possible to avoid players due to avoiding surprise attacks

I've enjoyed the gameplay loop, but it feels like content kind of just runs out. I'm very curious what the extent of content will be like in the full version. If there's a lot of it, and people don't get excessive with griefing, I may pick this up. The stress test has been fun until I ran out of things to do.

Deep rock isn’t exactly like other Extraction Shooters, you’re hardlocked to only having 4 players. This is more like Tarkov or Hunt Showdown where randoms can be either friendly or hostile depending on how people feel that day.
