This method only works when I put the skeleton in the same layer of the regions that I want to move. It doesn't work when the skeleton is out of the group. Why?

This method does not work in the synfig im running. I have tried in both the latest stable and testing versions. mac osx. I do exactly what is stated in the video. After I have done what the video says, and the bones should be connected to the image, the bones and image are not connected. I move a bone and the image does not move. Can you help?

You need to set bone influence area (controlled by purple dots) to cover points of your shape. Please see my reply here - github.com/synfig/synfig/issues/306#issuecomment-275400467

I can't drag the skeleton layer to put it inside the group. Whenever I start to drag it, it becomes big and follows my mouse, but then I drop it and it goes back to where it is. Could you please tell me how to fix this?

i think i got it, select all parts of the e.g. leg and all points, then add skeleton in the layer window, should be in the group then

Please make sure to follow the tutorial: 1. Select shape layer 2. Select the vertices of the shape 3. Ctrl+click skeleton layer (this adds it to current selection) 4. Right-click on any bone and choose "Link to Skeleton".

MOHAMED ABIB Either you tried to download the windows version or your mac is not powerful enough for the 64bit version try downloading the 32 bit version that worked for me
