Great quality mods, great quality editing and video in general. Keep them coming! Skyrim modding still hasn't reached it's peak even 11 years after release, that's so wild!
@charlieprince86712 жыл бұрын
To addendum this outstanding video, the combat stuff coming down the pipe in beta or early access is insane as well. Valhalla, MCO, SCAR and Precision among others are going to further refine things to the point where Skyrim combat can rival the SoulsBorne series or Nioh and even the NPCs will be taking advantage of it.

A couple of great additions to Hunterborn are 1. Hunterborn Scrimshaw Expanded which of course adds tons of new things to craft with that skill without going overboard. You can even craft a plethora of new ingredients. And 2. Hunting in Skyrim Skinned Models for Hunterborn which gives animals the appearance of actually having been skinned when you skin them.

Another great mod would be seasonal landscapes. However I would recommend changing its default iMin grass from 20 to 50-60 as it is extremely harsh on performance. Changing it to those values gave it around the same performance as folkvangr :)

According to a number of reports, Sojourn Over Signposts stops working after using it for a while. You can fix that with console and the solution is provided in the "Bugs" section of the mod, but still, the idea of fixing something via console mid-playthrough does not sound too thrilling to me. Personally, I have been using Fingerposts Fast Travel for a while now, which allows you to travel through sign posts as well, but it adds additional travel locations to those posts and also integrates new, carefully placed signposts into the world. Someone interested in fast travel overhauls might be interested to check this one out as well

I know this video is super old at this point but I just wanna point out that the changing seasons in Skyrim was literally always possible even back when the game was "new". They literally showed off that exact feature in action for one of their "game jam" showcases where essentially the devs just made a bunch of random stuff that ultimately never made it into the game, including the giant mudcrab that I believe is now part of the fishing creation club content if I'm not mistaken. It was never a question of if it was possible, it was just who was going to do it first.

I'm intrigued by the last two especially. And I am curious what texture mod you use because I love the look of it. Also the way you made this video feels like you are watching a movie. It is very cool. When it comes to the plant and flora mods I don't typically go for them only because I kind of like knowing where I am by simply looking around and knowing where to go. I still sometimes get lost but it is almost at the point where I can go places without fast travel and without looking at the markers or map. I kind of enjoy that because it makes you feel like you are familiar with Skyrim and the world and you feel almost like a seasoned traveler who knows their stuff. :) I do love the looks of the mods though. I'd like to find a mod that has certain races wear their race specific armors. Like for instance Irileth and the guy in riften who is a dark elf who runs the market stand. I would love if they wore Solstheim type armors. Same with wood elves and high elves and orcs and nords. Also something that bugs me about the companions guild is that Farkas doesn't wear the wolf armor however the silverhands say he is when playing the quest. I also wish there was a mod to join the silver hands instead of the companions since the companions force you to be a werewolf.

The hunting mod and season mod are great, the hunting mod is quite nice in conjunction with a few other mods I have however one mod I am still looking for is a mod that adds fur coat variant for armors. Yes there is fur armor but I would like a set of armor that has the fur lining. Also the Dragon born does bring Chitin armor that is nice and awesome looking but ultimately impractical. However I do like the carved nordic armor.
