Synology DS416 Flashing Blue Light of Death

Thank you Chris! This worked exactly as you showed for my DS412+. Here are the steps: 1.) When the blue light is blinking rapidly, disconnect the power supply from the DS 2.) Pop the drives out (just enough to unplug them) 3.) Reconnect the power supply, and press the power button if needed. The blue light should flash again. 4.) Wait several minutes and the orange status light should start to blink. 5.) Set a timer for 3 minutes. 6.) After 3 minutes, press and hold the power button to shut down the DS. 7.) Disconnect the power supply. 8.) Plug all the drives back in. 9.) Reconnect the power supply, and press the power button if needed to turn the DS back on. 10.) Wait up to 10 minutes, and the DS should eventually reboot and start up normally.
