Here is a way to fix your leather problems: breed sheep (preferrably high HP ones), level nothing but HP, slaughter the ones that you actually do want to slaughter (with a high quality chainsaw), and then use the chainsaw to harvest from the sheep. It also helps to have levels into your personal damage as to get the most value out of the chainsaw.

I have a few tips since I've solo'd the ARK I hope these will help. Tip for the Overseer fight, just in case a 3rd TEK leggings, from all TEK pieces the leggings can & will be a massive lifesaver. When you accidentally mess up, get dismounted and full around the room by the Overseer, one leggings broke during the TEK cave and one broke halfway the fight. You're not going to be able quickly jump on one of your rexes in time as they're most likely chasing the Overseer through the arena, even if you manage with luck to get near, you need to be lucky that they are not stunned. making sure to have an extra pair of leggings so you can run at super speed will give you some control in that situation since quick reactions are going to be needed. Also a tip for the TEK cave, Ammonite biles, you need to make those pheromone darts that aggro animals, there will be gigas in the TEK cave which can help you kill all other animals in there, not only are there even rexes in the TEK cave they're a pretty high level, letting the gigas shred most of them to pieces will be of great help not to forget at the end of the cave there will at all times be a giga, that one you have to lure into the lava using a gun. The final hint that is least helpful if you're not good at it, but when used correctly will be of great help, group whistles, since you're soloing it using group whistles in the arena will help you place, prepare and strategize specific pelotons of your army, this isn't recommended if you're quite messy and all over the place with group whistles forgetting who's in which group or which group you have turned on or off, however if you're quite efficiënt with it and are quite well capable to keep track of it, this will be a major game changer for you whenever you need protection, whenever you need to deal just a little bit more DPS for example against the Dragon transformation or when you see some animals need healing and you can get a Daeodon in range to give that assistance. Ps. If you were serious on using the Dimorphodons as a strategy, take all time needed to mutate them in Melee damage, proper preparation is mandatory better to have too many mutations than too little. Hope these tips help you along

Syntac you can use a feature called ordering groups to make the daeodons be passive and follow the yuty while the rexes and allos fight everything. The way you do this is you would go into the options for the daeodons go to modify ordering groups and put them in group 1. Then if you go into the menu where you pick between third and first person and press order group 1 then when you whistle only the 4 daeodons will listen to you. Then if you put them in passive and to follow the yuty they will not fight. But to control the rexes and allos you can put them in group 2 and when you press order group 2 in the menu then you can whistle them to fight something and the daeodons wont listen. If you knew this sorry because in the dragon fight you didnt bring up the feuture so the daeodon died early. Hope this helps in the fight and keep up the good work.

A tip for the hide: if you breed sheep with as high a health stat as you can find, and level them up around 20 lvls pumping hp, when you harvest it, you'll get tens of thousands of hide mutton and pelt

Even if you forcetame the OVerseer its just a floating pixel glitch. It doesnt have a form its just glittery wobbly stuff. Also you can have a dermis from the Megaape and Broodmother in their Guardian form but not from the dragon... Those forms do make for some nice decoration tho. Also The Mega Mek and King Titan dermises vanish as soon as the server restarts.

@@Iamaguienapig Indeed but also you cannot place the Transmitter on the Quetz when youre too close to the volcano so place it at your base, fly up, land, download. Youre good. We did that on our server when we had an ascension event for everyone to join. Now with the cryopods its easier obviously.

Don't forget all of your medium crop plot tributes! I'm pretty sure that you can build further up than where you are at. At the point of the path where you go straight up to the lava area, where the large metal nodes are you can build there.

For quick transport you could use a platform quetz just below that cliff area where you're bringing the Rexs in, and use it to transport them pretty quick.

You can get the Reyes in a line if you whistle one following you, then another one is following the Rex wich is following you and just repeat this. With this method the risk of the Rex’s falling into the lava in the cave is also smaller. Hope this helped you out! Good Luck at fighting the Overseer! You can use this tip for the tek cave dinos. First, tame an archaeopteryx. Next, use it to glide above the lava in the tek cave. And then, aggro the dinos and make them fall into the lava. Then you can pass the cave without a fight. (I think grappling hook might work too, but I don't know which one is better. So it's on your dicision.)

Dunno if this qualifies as a tip AND this was over a year ago BUT! I was able to build a FOB closer to the top of the volcano. When you make your last LEFT turn to head into to pit. Look right. Was able to clear out the rubble and build there. Might be worth a look to save time walking Rex’s up.

What about cryo pods? Just cheat in a few, it just makes it easier for you to get the video done, it’s not like it’s cheating the boss fight and making it die easier. It just makes it go faster, so instead of walking all the creatures, just throw them down.

There is a terminal right outside the Tek Cave, you even clicked on it to check the tributes needed. Use your fancy new S+ transmitter at base and upload your dinos. head over to the Tek Cave, open the terminal, and download all the dinos. Easy solution.

The biggest reason I use a tek generator is that the s+ variant powers the replicator. Saves element if you are going to use the replicator in the future.

Go into the volcano and follow the path out until you see a crystal and a metal node (or look to the right at 12:35). If you break those resources, you can walk your rexes up that slope. If you need proof for whatever reason I uploaded a speedrun (not promoting or anything) where I walked my rexes up there, but you can easily try for yourself

The Tek Cave terminal cannot upload, download or transfer like all the other ones that are under the Obelisks. The ONLY purpose of the Tek Cave Terminal is to decide what difficulty you want the Tek Cave and Overseer to be on. Obviously Syntac is gonna go for alpha, but doing it solo is no easy challenge.

OK tips as requested. Tek armor will not keep you cool enough in the first part of the cave or warm enough in the boss arena. Go Ghillie and Fur for those areas. Tek helmet though for spotting the Purlovias. Rocket launchers for the Purlovias. I don't think you can walk Rexes in but you can get them in the first half of the lava cave via Pokie balls. Lower down that stops working. And pheromone darts don't work in there any more because the devs love to suck the joy out of everything.

For hide gathering, take boosted 'delicate harvest' Theri with wieght boosted Argent on follow to offload. hyeanadon and phiomia are great as well as carnivores, but avoid pelt animals i.e. snow biome.

I'm not sure about the settings on your server, but on our server a group of guys put the transmitter on the back of a quetzal platform saddle and downloaded dinos inside the tek cave (they cleared the cave using 2 gigas and downloaded the rest of the dinos before the actual arena). Not sure if it's possible in your server, but thought i might let you know.

Sytac You could get a High lvl wolf pair and do mutations Mostly melee Then you will have tons of hide after a few goes They are imo the best hide gatherers Check dododex cause i dont know But if you dont like the not able to have a saddle part then get a Thyla or a Saber and do mutations on those They are not as strong as rexes But they are faster and more efficient

So it’s a bit tedious, but the easiest way I found to get the Dino’s in the cave by myself was to have the first Rex follow me then the next Rex follow that Rex and so on, it helps to get them all in within the five minutes then you can rearrange once you’re in there

You get 2 creatures and breed all the best stats into 2 creatures with opposite genders. Then you breed these perfect creatures for the mutations. When you get one mutation, you start breeding the mutated dino with the opposite gender perfect parent. The trick is to always breed the mutated dino to a non-mutated parent and this way the mutations will be only on the matrilinial or only the patrilinial side. If the mutations are only at one of the sides, you can get infinite mutations. It shows that the max is 20, but they still count. It may sound a little bit difficult but it actually isn't. I hope I helped you and my description isn't too complicated, I am not a native English speaker.
