Great build! Just a few possible suggestion, if alpha trophy heads are not an option, use the decoration boxes and use the human bones to decorate the outside either in random or a pattern. Another option, extend out horizontal pillars at the top and possibly the middle, and use those chandelier type decorations. Maybe every corner. Axe has some awesome custom skins for glass that might offer you more options. Really, just an epic build as it is, can't see what you do come up with.

i love that building, it looks great. maybe not a suggestion, just a question, why did you use three railings for the "dome"? now you have 1x1x1 with three different kinds of inclination. why not use 2 of each? dome would get higher up as well. i hope its understandable what i mean. nonetheless, keep going man, really love your vids.

It's not a Syntac build without lag. Looks good mate. Where the railings square off in the roof you could try place a triangle roof to snap the railings in diagonally to have them like merging with the centre set. If it works. Also now you can drop Jim & Axe in there to fight each other for our amusement.

Torches and other fire places that require fuel, arent too bad if you make a SR-5RM8 so they can automatically fill them up, as well as remove charcoal from them and place said charcoal in a storage. Helps make for automated charcoal for gun powder, and keeps the place looking cool.

The Thunderdome is absolutely perfect!!!! The lights on the ceiling look like speakers announcing the next fight. Axe tried to get to your character's body, so protect it at all costs (and he thought that metal walkway looked a bit like a peen. Maybe fix that or leave it for his amusement.) Did they fix the vehicle? Make sure you show it off when that happens, you earned the cool ride!!!!

For gassbags control, less is more. If you hold forward you loose control and rocket upwords to fall to your death at zero stam. The trick is little taps and mouse pulls for direction, so think of it as a hot air balloon instead of a creature. To launch you just need a few seconds of gass to gain speed, then hands off the shift key as you rise up to your desired hight. To change direction just little pulses in desired trajectory. To stop pull backwards with S, and expend the gass in paulses to make a slow decent to break the speed. To land, you can only gently float downward. As long as you have just a tiny amount of gass in the tank the gassbag will absorb all fall damage on touchdown; they are VERY fragile otherwise. It takes a bit of practice, but i LOVE farting around with gassbags.

there should be scaffoldings under those stairs, I'm pretty sure there are such parts in ASA ;) also scaffolding here and there could help breaking up the monotony of the outer walls. Also the whole dom floor looks good with all the sand, so perhaps covering the platform with adobe ceilings would look nice..?

I have to say, that your building skills improved a lot since I watch your videos. Respect, this thunderdome looks great. I share your thoughts about the torches. I really like them, especially in the beginning when you live in a wood or stone hut, but it is so annoying to refuel. They should make it possible to use some more advanced fuel which holds significant longer. Maybe apex drops like the tribetower? Another thing, which would be great if there would be a firewood storage, which would refuel automatically all fireplaces when provided with fuel.

Love the build!! Definitely provided some inspiration for when I build my Thunderdome. One thing I do to break up the pattern with the new wall skins is flip the walls every once in a while. Works pretty well!

I love the dome man! Alternatively, could you take the last 2 railings going toward the center of the building and make them slant up to a peak? Or lift a whole section of the ring up by doing so closer to the outer edge? So hard to explain what I mean with text but hopefully you get the gist of what I'm saying. Only to combat the potential tall dino issues. Also, purely decorational idea, but maybe another tribe tower at the very top somehow? Other than that, I think it looks stellar!

Finally subscribed after ages of watching but building idea for the front is to make the stairs usable pillars for storage and also extend the front by 2 foundations and make it look like a trading post then enters in to the thunder dome. Also you could use inner walls for Dino storage cages or miscellaneous goods.

I would do as many stairways up as possible but keep them all the same direction and evenly spaced so that way when you fly over it it almost looks like a saw blade. The stairs would essentially act as the teeth

Hay syntac use frontier skins with wasteland for foundation and cealing they look very good if you just button mash those skins ramdomly . It looks like you just used whatever you have to build the ground so you are not on sand.

Quick tip for the gasbags: in ASE its flight went further and dropped less in the city and desert/snow domes than it does in the wasteland, sunken forest, and every other map. Not sure if that's still a thing in ASA, but if it is, then gasbags are far better in the city and mini arks.

I'd say thick pillars going all the way down in the corner of the ceiling of the stairway, then thin pillars all the way down along the side of the stairs. I think that would look best. Also, there might be a custom cosmetic you could use on the railings that would match the wasteland anesthetic, but actually look metal instead of wood.

You'll get plenty of angler gel from running yellow (beta) or higher OSD. The Paracertherium, Rexes and other bigger corrupted dinos drop black pearls, corrupted hearts and oddly enough angler gel. You can also farm that in the Sulfur fields. Just beware Giga spawns that will ruin your day. I've had Gigas spawn not that far south of your base location.

any and all movement on a gasbag pushes you up which is why the fastest way to fly a gas bag the actual fastest flyer is too get going then fall about 60ft then push forward till youre slightly higher then repeat. gasbags are the best tame in game for transport, bag retrieval, and taming without a trap for velonasaurs or really any predator.
