I can’t wait to see syntac’s reaction when the king titan spawns near his base. It’s inevitable since he’s near the area where it typically spawns Also syntac I recommend taming dire bears sometime because they are really useful here if you can’t find good gasbags and are way more common

Oh hey, you're setting up near where me and my friend built during our first playthrough in SE. Though we decided to build on the raised area beneath the obelisk, as it's really easy to lock off (and oddly enough, I'm pretty sure is/was a valid build area by default).

Honestly the armadoggo has been a combination of Brainworms and massochism, just constantly insisting on hurting himself on the spike walls instead of using their hyenadon withcraft to skyrim horse the spikes

No matter what my tribe is taming, and how carefully we place the spikes, one of our doggos will inevitably spend the whole tame running straight into the spikes.

New player to ark. Absolutely love your videos I learn sooooo much. With the meteor shower. I was flying over to the blood zone and I got nailed 2 times mid air I took that as a sign from god I was not ready ….. he was correct

there is one nice base spot in the wasteland. Theres a large pipe between the snow and desert biome. Just place a cliff platform, build on that and youre sheltered from all meteors, and theres only the occasional corrupted ptera. maybe once every few hours but even then its pretty unlikely theyll come in. its where i have my base and its a really nice spot. theres a little bit of water in that pipe too so you have a close water source

Just a small tip, if you want fiber go into the water. The plants give just fiber and no berries and about 3X the normal amount. Also I always farm my rock from the water as well, the doedic is faster in the water, turns better and the river rocks hold about 2X the rock of the big ones on ground.

​@@MrLinkinJason ok, so just search for ark survival ascended rtx 4060 benchmarks on KZbin so you cam see what settings will get you which framerates. From this point you can decide which settings are the best for you. Btw I would recommend an Intel arc b580 because it outperforms the 4060 and is cheaper.

He runs max so do I on the 4090 but you 100% need DLSS if you are gonna play on 4k or you will literally get 30 fps on max settings on a fucking 4090.

I have said this on multiple occasions, Spiked walls are more likely to hurt you than help you. Build gates, and if you are like me use stone behemoth gates to enclose that entire circle as soon as you can. Umm there is a "Metal Cave" (more of a passageway) around 51.5 59.5 Hit those solar panels with a doedi you get almost 1k element dust per whack the anky is better than a carnivore but not by much. Therizeno also not very good for some weird reason. Oh the new bio grinder from Bobs is just straight up cheating, you can grind Yutis for The best kibble, 12 at a time, completely broken.

The last time i saw people build in the same general area as where your wanting to build was NeebsGaming, where they built directly under Green Obelisk and had quite a few issues with it, mostly a corrupted Rex that destroyed their base quite quickly before it was lead away. So it's definitely good for getting content but your own sanity might wane and falter if enough big bad creatures attack it before your properly ready.

I built my base in ASE next to the green obelisk and I wanted to do it again but that area seems so much worse than it was before. Although I do remember my whole tribe doing suicide runs to try and get an alpha carno away from our base on day 1.

With that coloration, I don't think there's any other option for that saber's name than Battle Cat, as in from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
