Synth Riders is a challenging VR rhythm game where a player must hit different colored notes and note streams that fly by on either side of them. Each note is a 3D sphere that zooms by on the beat of the pulsating retro synthesizer music. Blue notes must be hit with the left hand, pink notes must be hit with the right hand, green notes must be hit with one hand only (either right or left) and orange notes must be hit with both hands at the same time. There are four levels of difficulty: easy, medium, hard and expert.

Finally got Synth Riders. This and Pistol Whip are now my favourite VR experiences. Perfect for working up a sweat for a 40 something chubster.

Probably a better workout than a lot of Beat Saber songs. The holds really set this game apart in my opinion, and I've been saying someone needs to mod Beat Saber for holds forever now. I'm so glad I found this game. This vid got me to buy it. :D

Amazing music, performance and game, but I'm still unsettled by the reversed left-right color theme from BS. I think both games can live along pretty well (if more people discover it) because when BS is a lot more workout (to me), this allows for choregraphies and all. I hope to see it evolve even further (besides it being already quite neatly polished in the menus, loadings, background, gameplay and everything else).

Well you can set the colors to whatever you want so you could have the red on the left and blue on the right like BS

I prefer Synth Riders for regular exercise because I'm prone to spraining/straining my wrist so Beat Sabers would make my hands fall off if I played it too much, but Beat Sabers seems like a fun way to add some occasional slightly higher intensity to my snowed-in workout routine.
