I have a couple of questions, i cant load their forum... 1. Will it be available for ableton live 11. 2. I hear we can import other voices, xan we use them as a learning curve but obviously not to release, because you know your gona get no response from an artist if we can experiment and learn with. 3. Is it loaded with voices already and will it be adding more . 🤟

The most important thing is if there is a loss in the quality of the source, when you introduce minor change just for enhancing it.

The input voices and the voices that you are mimicking make a difference. Also note VocoFlex is in beta.

Dreamtonics should first fix NUMEROUS bugs instead of lauching new stuff like vocoflex. Their forum is now closed so users do no longer benefit from any support. Item ARA mode does not properly work in Studio One, constant crashes with VSTI3 either. VSTI3 as instrument always tries to steal the focus of the audio interface instead directing his audio through the host, crashes when undoing and modifying pitch curves, no sandboxing, no freeze, no polyphony except if you open new tracks inside Synthetizer-V leading to more lags, poor shortcuts implementation (no click and drag to copy, no lasso...), snapping is more than clunky and imprecise when not focusing deeply, pitch automation does not follow items when copying them, no eq, numerous losses of data on crash - was obliged to start again from scratch many times, metronome does not work !!!... Would I go now to that vocoflex seeing they do not adress Synthetizer-V bugs? Certainly not.

I can't get it.ARA mode to work in logic either, it doesn't show up in my plug-in list.

if the input voice is bad or out of key so will the morph voice. Synthesizer V is great though for bad vocals important and then convert to and then change the vocalist

Literally bought Synthesizer V and 4 voice banks yesterday for nearly $400, today I learn about Vocoflex... facepalm. Do you think this will make their own voice databases obsolete one day?

I don't think so because they all have the articulations like breathiness, mood, etc and this is just trying to change the voice into another. I heard Dreamtonics is so secretive with their proprietary process to create the voicebanks, where even the vocalists don't get to know how it works. So I'm definitely interested in this too because I can't sing, and I'm curious what it would sound like if I could by using these. lmao

Hi, can you tell me what should be the criteria required to become a beta tester of VOCOFLEX? I work very passionately with SynthesizerV, which I love as a completant program of modern songwriting. I also requested to join in, but didn't hear anything so far from the developers.

They got back to me after a few days, and we had a Zoom interview. I'm not sure what the exact criteria are. I guess they just want feedback and know how people will use it.

There is no iPad or iOS version of Synthesizer V or Vocoflex available at the moment. I have no inside information about whether there will be, but obviously, it's possible.

can you try instead with a vocal line with an instrument, for example an electric guitar solo? to create your own guitar sound

I have experimented with using instruments as input and also as a source for mimicking. The results have been mixed, but interesting. For example, I have noticed a beatbox-like sound with drums. Even though VocoFlex was designed for vocals experimentation is always fun, and it can lead to mixed results.
