Whooaah this music master teacher does have alot of tallents and explaines everything pretty well, just minf blowing. And that they did had already sooo much knowledge about fm syntheses back in the 80's is amezing considering we will take the knowledge from the past for grantage, but not in this case!!!!

Wow, just one after another of back to back demonstrations of a wide range of different synths. i don't think i have ever seen that before.

These synthesizers were very nice toys, albeit extremely expensive back in the '80s. And the prices for Oberheim's and Sequential's haven't really dropped to these days. So yeah, these are very nice videos explaining the synthesis and all, but to afford these things it was close to impossible in those days, and still is today, unless you favor PC synthesis, but that's not as much fun, is it?

He mentions there is SERIES 2 (and refers to video #10). So i am guessing there is episodes 6 to 10 in existance ??

People try and sell these instruments for stupid prices on ebay etc. They are really not worth some of the extortionate asking prices. Though yes, some of the synths like the DX7 Mk1 and Minimoog were and are still great (and unique) instruments.
